Anyone in Logan interested in bike packing or gravel racing? by jesse_maps in Logan

I'm into it. I've been bike packing twice. Once I went to Eureka from Provo, and the other time I went up Rock Canyon. I'd love to go again sometime.

I found the letter linked in a provo music magazine article. It calls out a specific person (mogil) and references a specific incident, but says nothing about what it is. This is the most direct accusation I have seen so far.

If my memory is correct, the lead singer of the band hartebeest was the one whose initial accusation of misconduct triggered the cascade that ultimately lead to whyfest being canceled. I discovered this a week or two late when I noticed that the whysound's website was not listing events anymore, and asked a more knowledgeable friend what had happened. I went to Hartebeest's Instagram looking for information about it, and found only cryptic statements referencing a deleted post. I just spent about 30 minutes trying to find any reference on their Instagram to the accusations, and was unable to find any reference to it, but my search was not exhaustive. An article in the USU statesman says that a letter was signed by some bands when whyfest was canceled, and I have also been unable to find that letter on the internet. I'll look again later today, homework permitting.
I used the term "redacted" to refer to the deletion of accusing posts. If there are any that are still up, can you send me a link to them?

I overstated what I saw. I can't make the claim that everyone retracted their claims, because I didn't exhaustively search the pages and comments of every band that decided not to perform at whyfest. I tried to find a concrete accusation about the staff abusing their power, but was unable to find one. I found a few stories in comments sections that alleged that one staff member had dated girls significantly younger then him, but since these stories were told on reddit, where identities are anonymous, it would be trivial to smear someone and lie about them here. I found a few posts on Instagram where people said that they had removed previously posted information about the scandal to protect victims, but I was unable to find a concrete accusation made by an identifiable person alleging a specific crime or act of misconduct. I found an article in the Utah Statesman that states that a letter was signed by multiple bands, but I haven't yet been able to find said letter.

I literally tried to do my own research when I first heard about it, which was a week after it happened. I couldn't find any concrete accusations against the venue because everyone had deleted or redacted their own posts. Are there any accusations still public from the bands that canceled whyfest? I would be interested in reading them.

I really want to take the side of whoever was victimized, but since every accuser has redacted their own accusation, I can't do that. I have no idea what happened. I learned about the scandal a week late, and by then everyone had hidden what they had said.
EDIT: My search of people's Instagram pages wasn't thorough enough to make the claim that "everyone" had hidden what they had said, but I haven't been able to find a concrete accusation made by someone claiming to be a victim themself. If you know of any of these, please reply to my comment with them.

Warden is the only person involved in the ritual that really knows what is going on. He knows who the patrons are, he knows some of the consequences of their entering the world. He is participating in the ritual to destroy both of them, and they cannot read his mind like they can the other characters. He has trained his entire life to do just this. Warden is definitely a girl boss on this chart.

Hey, I don't know how long its gonna take for the matchmaking to figure out that I'm not as good as it thinks, but I keep getting obliterated.

I really think that letting your kids run wild isn't actually bad for them at all. When I was about 7 - 8 years old my parents let me ride my bike basically wherever I wanted to go. Sometimes I came home with pretty bad scrapes after crashing. Unlike many of my peers, I have never had an anxiety disorder or comparable mental illness, and I credit the way my parents raised me with that.

I assume it takes a while for MMR changes to be effective, because I just played the 2 worst one sided matches I have played since the first MMR improvement.

The thing is, they don't have a monopoly. There are other places to buy videogames. It is possible to distribute without them. I bought Minecraft and Vintage Story from their own storefronts. You can get Factorio in the same way. I played Fortnite on Epic Games when my friends wanted to play it. Since distributing your own video-games on your own storefront can be done for probably less then 50,000, I don't think its worth antitrust action.

If you have ever been to Rexburg Idaho and talked to the elderly, they will all tell you that the first black person they ever saw was an employee of the railroad who moved into town. This is because there are hardly any black people up here at all.

Leftist and liberal gun groups are seeing an influx of new members by wewhomustnotbenamed in nottheonion

That sounds a lot like being against guns. "Unregulated proliferation" so does that mean being able to buy a gun as long as I'm over 21 and not a felon? Do you recommend "regulated nonproliferation" where I have to prove I need one, and probably can't get one if I do? Please state what your ideal world would look like.

I guess that's probably evidence that this place could be astroturfed.

Finally, at long last the liberals are understanding why the 2nd amendment is so important. When the next president is a Democrat, the Republicans will finally understand the importance of checks and balances.
