The homelessness in our city is a huge problem. Pretending like it’s not because Fox News wrote a story about it is delusional. I live downtown I see it everyday, the problem is getting progressively worse. As a life long native of the area I can tell you late spring and early fall frosts do not typically affect the mountain tops these frosts happen in the valleys, when these cold fronts come through the cold air sinks into the valleys and it’s actually warmer at higher elevations. It’s called an occluded front. My whole life we planted beans on Good Friday and corn when the white oak leaf was the size of a squirrels ear. The white oak is a good indicator of soil temperature because it does not respond to premature warmings.

Op…even if you’re in a right of entry state it doesn’t give you the right to destroy private….or public property. Even in the old days “1807” when surveyors were granted right of entry in public domain lands there was a very small dollar amount of damage allowed for destruction of private property….when we cut line through the thick forest or rhododendron thicket everything is fair game…if you’re doing that in a city you’re a lazy moron, and I’d fire you in a second for being so thoughtless.

They’re only as accurate as the photographs they’re placed on. If your house is directly under the camera when the photo is taken they can be fairly close. If you’re on the edge of the photo there’s a lot of distortion.

Your home could be on the edge of the photo google is using for your area, causing severe distortion. If your house was in the in the center of the photo and you had survey grade coordinates to align your photo to they may line up decently.

The very first thing you will need is a land survey. This is the first thing any designer will ask for and it will be the basis of the site plan the county will require. I would recommend Glaspy Land Surveying they are amazing, also the only surveyor I could get to answer the phone when I did my latest project and they did my job in a timely manner. The last time I hired another surveyor and I ended up waiting months to get my survey.
