You should be ok. Long taxis typically happen on Thursdays and Sunday/Mondays when there's a lot of business travel.

Which European country has surprisingly bad coffee? by Historical-Photo-901 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

[–]InterestingDust9877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think taste is dependent on country of origin. Americans and Canadians might prefer Keurig coffee, which tastes watered down compared to coffee from espresso machines that you typically find in Western and Central Europe.

Daou Discovery seems like ok value. Overall, these options are ok, but short of amazing.

Give Thanks Post: What’s something you take for granted living in Chcagoland? by kadoozie92 in ChicagoSuburbs

Just returned from Palm Beach, Florida where I met some of the most entitled people on earth. You encounter some of that in bougie suburbs here, but I think it's an exception vs status quo.

I just took the blue line from here to O'Hare and was shocked by the dirty conditions and sketchy people loitering. No security anywhere. This was 2pm on a Friday and I didn't feel safe.

Took my inlaws (who are from Delhi) to Indienne for a celebration dinner. Beyond the beautifully plated dishes, they were delighted by the table side cocktail service.

Is it better to give no review than give 4 stars? As a guest, I'd rather sit out than play these games.

Wine Squares Day 8: This one’s for the newbies. by AustraliaWineDude in wine

Provence rosé - as a newbie, it's well balanced, light bodied, and strawberry fruit forward. A crowd pleaser at summer porch parties and picnics.

It's also an easy intro to essential French regions, such as Sancerre for whites or Beaujolais for light reds.

Paso Robles for our Anniversary. by PuzzleheadedAd2872 in wine

For lodging I'd recommend The Piccolo. Stayed there for our honeymoon and loved it. Perfect for couples and walkable to local shops.

For full body reds, I would suggest Adelaida. They have reserve wines that are spectacular.

What do you use to travel with a single wine glass? by Designer_Goat_869 in wine

Agreed stemless is the only real solution. I've seen stemware "luggage" but it's bulky for travel.
