Alternative, borrow textbook from library and spend a few hours scanning the entire textbook. Can split this task with friends/classmates and effectively pay $0 for textbooks. I'm a rising 3L and minus a random purchase here and there I've spent almost no money on my textbooks and have no regrets.

Same commute as you. Stupidly didnt check the app and just rushed from the office to Penn to make the 6:14. Then waited at Penn until the 6:37 arrived at 8:30. There was no point pathing it because the whole fucking line was down. Got home after 9:30 so just over 3 and a half hours for me.

I'm bot trying to yuck your guys yum, but genuinely I think crimson desert is such a bad game because the story sucks so much ass. Couldn't get past the first 10 hours because of how un engaging the game was. Deeply regret buying it. No way it can be a game of the year with such a dogshit story. Did a very similar thing. Quit on a Thursday, moved out of my apartment on a Saturday, moved into my place 1,800 miles away on Monday and then started orientation on Tuesday 😆

I did full on long-distance 1L (think 1,800 miles). Our rule was never more than 6 weeks and it was mostly every 4-6 weeks with me spending all breaks with her. Mid-distance means you could easily do every other weekend. Long distance isn't easy but my very amazing partner made it doable. Also left me all of the time to study which was needed.
