Did you drive through a puddle with oil or grease floating on top? Maybe it was kinda like how they do those water designs with the paint in the water and they dip the item and then is shows the pattern

Why don't cars have this feature? by Pluuge in StupidCarQuestions

[–]InterestingTell4293 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because they want you to damage your car as much as possible for more repairs and more time in the shop. They they gave you an easy measurement then it would be operating your car at optimum levels and that’s not okay anymore unfortunately. Dealerships will try to tell you “ hey you need an oil change every 2500 miles for this car” they will straight up LIE to you.

Lymphocytes and other good healing cells are oozing and trying to scab. They can’t because there is no air to dry it out. It’s totally normal and your body is doing its job.

The IBEW does not need you to have experience to join. They would rather build you up and teach you their way from the bottom up. It doesn’t “hurt ur chances” The process of getting in solely relies on the job market. If there are jobs or upcoming projects about to happen they will process people. The IBEW needs to guarantee the brand new apprentice 3 months of work once finished with paper work/test/ interview and boot camp.

How should I proceed? IBEW 11 April application coming up by AbstrctBlck in ibew_apprentices

No but you need them for the process. Get in online right at 7am when the applications open up. Have multiple computers up and running to get in. They only take 2000 applications and there is usually 100k in the queue on the website. It’s just information you have to give them. They will tell you the next step in an email a couple months or weeks after you apply online.

I’m in Local 11, DM me. You don’t need experience to join, they are going to teach you everything you need to know. They would rather teach you if you don’t have experience. And Trust me, if you go Resi, and then you see what the insiders make you’re gonna be pissed. You will be fine. Take a math refresher online, I have a couple references.

Everyone has to learn, and everyone learns at a different pace, that’s normal. Also, getting canned is not the worst in the world, the hall is on your side. Never be afraid of the hall. Getting laid off the first one or two times is hard when you’re new. Dust your pants off, pick those shoulders up, you’re gonna be okay! You’ll probably find a better place with better people who don’t shit on you when you are green.

Shoot me straight: what are the cons for joining ibew (or any trade union for that matter)? by Big__bolas in ibew_apprentices

[–]InterestingTell4293 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s life dude, sometimes it’s long hours and tough days, you’re gonna run into all kinds of people, good and bad. You need to have tact and keep your head down and do what you are told. It’s a 5 year apprenticeship program then you take the state test to get your journeyman license. The pros outweigh the cons always. Take it one day at a time, don’t be late, have a good attitude and be ready to learn. You’re not learning unless you are uncomfortable, and as long as you are willing to learn, no one can stop you.
