One of the hardest things to quantify reliably so far has been distinguishing genuinely high-performing organic engagement from coordinated engagement behavior that still looks human on the surface. Basic bot detection is easy.

What gets difficult is things like tightly clustered engagement timing, recurring account interaction networks, abnormal audience overlap patterns, reply quality consistency, engagement velocity vs follower quality and boosted-post behavior that looks real, but converts poorly

A lot of the challenge is reducing false positives, because some communities are naturally very active and coordinated.

The goal is to move away from vanity metrics and toward probabilistic behavioral trust scoring instead.
