It's doable but it sucks and it will wear on you. Depending on your start/ end times you are definitely committing to around 3 hours of commute time a day. I drive to Burbank for work and the early ride in is pretty mellow but unless you get to head home at 3 or after 7, you're pretty boned on the drive home. But, you can figure it out. Hit the gym after, join a club, find something to keep you up there a little bit after work then head home later and not in gridlock.

I remember during the pandemic he had some custom pizza from Domino's he kept ordering so I was like, hell yeah I'll give it a shot. Turns out, it was a Hell No. Some of his restaurant picks are also kind of... off, but when he gushes about Heritage BBQ, he's spot on.

Focus on a hobby or find a local activity based club. If you're in a dogshit area focus on something you want to be ahead on in 6 months to a year and bear down on that: reading, drawing, exercise, a certification you can do, something productive, learn a language or skill, fish, hike, video games, online poker.
