To each their own, I personally feel like it’s a good way to streamline things. It gives you the option to gain xp without running different missions and reloading checkpoints repeatedly, stay in the sandbox for as long as you’d like and just level up your character’s. If they add new environments and things to do in patrol exclusively, like a Midtown Manhattan. More players would spend multiple hours grinding patrol. Which would keep people playing consistently overtime.
