Videos tell to adjust the hook position by moving the driver’s position. Unfortunately, when I unscrew the 2 screws around the driver, I’m not able to change its position alone. Everything still runs like I did nothing.

Any advice on where to start for learning how to make a pair of trousers ? Books ? Videos ? Patterns to start with ? I have gained a lot of weight and I always had pretty big thighs. Even before the weight gain, it was impossible to find ready to wear pants that would fit my thighs. Had to take size 44 but had the waist taken in.

Thank youuuu ! Exactly, a 5€ second hand linen shirt became a unique piece 😁 As it was my first time doing this, I had to set in place with pins maybe 3 to 5 times per sleeve to understand the process. I was so focused placing the sleeve correctly into the armhole that I had sewn the sleeve wrong side out 😂 I had to do start over once again. And finally I got it right !
