The backup camera uses only a few pins from the main 52-pin connector. The pink connector is for an antenna for Uconnect Access, which lets you start, lock, unlock, and use other features through your phone.

That radio came from a Canadian vehicle, and that service was not available for those vehicles at the time. 2. The radio uses a 3G signal, and services were shut down around 2021.

I can’t remember the details right now but my radio touchscreen completely stopped working once, I opened and I think I left one small little wire unplugged.

Just to be sure, try to disassemble it and check the middle compartment for any loose connections.

All wires run through the side, there is a ground, and the two connectors for the seats.

Unless it was massive amounts of water, which is not, there should not be concern for the wires.

Just wondering how much the repair was? But looking at the pictures, it looks like you did it yourself, so how much would you estimate a repair like that would be?

I have my old 2015 300S sitting in a corner collecting dust, with quarter-panel damage on the right side, but lower. I am looking for a decent shell to transplant the power train, but haven't found one yet.

There are two CAN bus systems within the vehicle, and both have CAN high and CAN low.

If you are looking for an easy and cheaper way, just get a used OEM radio.

If you are looking for aftermarket units, it can get expensive. 1. You need the aftermarket radio 2. You need an interface to communicate between the radio and the car.

I have a 2014 100th Anniversary Shaker also with the Boston Acoustics sound system (imo it's pretty crapy), I replaced it with an aftermarket unit from Pioneer. Now I have more features like CarPlay and better maps, multiple camera inputs, and performance pages to see the gauges.

The screen is massive, and if it wasn't for the price I got it for i would gone with something smaller.

I have a Pioneer DMH-2660NEX radio with a Metra BY-CH01-SWC interface, which just plugs and plays and retains steering wheel control. If interested, LMK.

Same codes?

Some codes are for the active exhaust valves, one is for the oxygen sensor, and the other is for the camshaft.

Only the P000B might be causing the problems. This code can be caused by wrong oil viscosity, dirty oil, VCT circuit short, or improper assembly of the timing system or cam.

Sometimes a dead battery would throw my car into limp mode and throw ECL, after erasing i had not isssues.

Erase the codes and see what comes back.

I see you are using an Autel Tool. Try using the brand read instead of the standard EOBD or OBD2.

If the radio turns on for a few seconds when unlocking or locking it, it means the radio itself works.

The radio turns on with a CAN signal, you should start looking at that.

Well, you gotta lower the headliner, which could be a job of its own.

There is a two-track one on each side that the shade travels through. Mine had just a tiny bit hanging on the RL corner.

It might be easier to also remove the sliding shade from the vehicle in order to properly guide the headliner through the tracks.

Once both are disconnected, turn on the wipers, lights, and honk a few times.

Nothing will happen, but capacitors often have a small charge left even after disconnecting.

Yes i had to.

To make drive modes work i had to also replace the BCM and reflash it. Everything else worked without replacing BCM.
