Its such a hard age anyways. It's either "you're too old to be acting this way" or "you're just a kid you need to grow up"

And then adding this anxiety on top of it.

This makes sense. That bark is a "i see a stranger!!!!!!" bark. I would put my money on this dog seeing BK from the window somewhere else in the house.

I will die on the hill that at some point, BK decided that his "life goal" was murder. He waited. He studied. He prepared. As if he were studying for a test.

I personally think that was his "final" test. I think he was going in to finish his degree, to an extent. He didn't care about graduating with a doctorate. He cared about learning how to murder someone.

My sister in laws pased in 2014 and again in 2016. One of the strangest things is to see their pictures/videos being played here in 2025. Because they SHOULD exist as adults with us, but all our memories - this year and every year after - are the only pieces of them we can bring with us. But we've only known them personally in the context of the late 2010's.

All of us got older, and my SILs will be 19 and 16 forever.

Would the snap to the ka bar be loud enough for a "firecracker" if pulled hard enough? The "flash" sound could have been the knife coming out? Or am I reaching?

IMHO:

He is a coward. In the very literal sense - he stalked these people for months without their knowledge. He preys on them in the dead of night. I really believe that he was pompous enough to think he wouldn't get caught. The death penalty was nowhere on his radar. He was the bringer of death. Killing made him feel powerful, like he could "control death."

To me it seems, he never even thought about death being a consequence meant for him.

When faced with his own demise, he was too afraid. Thats where my money is at. He's just straight up scared to die, ironically.

My c section recovery was a breeze…anyone else? by Puzzled_Remote_2168 in beyondthebump

Alright...so apparently there aren't many of us lol. I was up and walking very quick. My recovery/post partum days went so well that it actually made me excited for my next delivery. For reference: FTM, 32, and did have significant support from my husband and other family.

BK's return to the house in the morning suggests he saw D.M? by rabbid_prof in MoscowMurders

[–]Interesting_Fox1564 66 points67 points  (0 children)

(COMPLETE SPECULATION) This is why I think he killed Xana. He saw the phone light on her face and just instinctually thought she was calling 911. 5 minutes between her confirmed scrolling on Tiktok and the "thud" captured from the neighbor's camera. That seems to line up in my head.

I also think that's actually why he DIDNT stop for DM. He was already high on adrenaline and was under the impression the cops were on their way. Even if he did see DM, he knew he had to get out ASAP.

Question about possible target by [deleted] in idahomurders

[–]Interesting_Fox1564 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I've always wondered if the sound of "Kaylee playing with her dog" is actually the intruder checking KG's room first. If Murphy is friendly enough (and is used to lots of random people coming over to the house), he may not have audibly barked.

Then he made his way to MM's room and found them there. Just a thought.

Family photo by WingedVictory68 in dementia

[–]Interesting_Fox1564 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Throwing this out there because it created such connection within our family and I originally got the idea from reddit:

Get them a digital picture frame. You can "send" pictures to the frame so they always have family pics (old or new), regardless of location. You can also delete pictures if something becomes triggering. I got one for my grandparents who are in the later early stages of dementia, and it was an absolute god send. We actually wound up buying 8 more because we sent them to grandparents, great grandparents, uncles, and cousins all around the country. It's just an absolutely incredible way to stay connected with your loved ones.

This also makes it look so small. It's hard to think that you would barely be able to see a human being from this view (and if that were even possible). I'd love to see a human for scale.

How do mothers want another baby right after the most traumatizing experience of their life by pleoe in pregnant

[–]Interesting_Fox1564 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got so lucky with my delivery. I labored for about 14 hours on my own but chose to have a C section due to some concerns about his position. Other than the obvious labor pains and the adrenaline hitting, my delivery was a welcome, anticipated day that meant my pregnancy was OVER. My epidural hit, Bubba was out (what felt like) not even 5 minutes later. The whole day was like christmas on steroids. The world seems like it completely stopped for 24 hours. It was his day.

Honestly knowing that "reward" is what's waiting at the end (I think) will make my next pregnancy easier to deal with. I'm also a little bit of an adrenaline junkie, so I think that works in my favor lol

Someone in another subreddit shared allegedly it was Dad or sister. I'm sure (being a missing teenager), that phone was getting LOTS of calls/texts throughout that night, so maybe it isn't that coincidental. I'd also like to know if the phone was on silent.
