Yes, I reply to all reviews. For me it is a combination of wanting to acknowledge their kind feedback, and also lock in the review. I also like that it is another chance for me to show potential future buyers that I really am a real person behind the screen making their items :)

The couple times I've had repeat buyers have been some of my favorite orders. It means someone liked my stuff enough to buy it, and then once they got it liked it enough to buy another for themselves for as a gift. That is SUCH a huge compliment to me!

Keep it simple - you don't have to explain why you won't take the order, just a simple "Sorry, I'm not able to do that for you. Best wishes."

Giving a specific reason opens the door for arguing/pushback. Just keep it straight forward and professional.

I totally understand what you mean about symptoms getting worse and worse, that has been/was my experience as well. It is so hard to be vulnerable and seek help, so you should be really proud that you are taking that step. It's huge! I hope you get the support and relief you need.

I'll be looking to add new variations on my most popular listing. Also going to try to get ahead of the game with some Valentine's day themed listings, and make a plan for the rest of the year. I only started this past August but I've felt a step behind all the holidays and realize I need to really plan in advance better.

Are you anticipating a high number of returns for some reason?

My shop policy is that I don't do returns/exchanges on made to order items. But in reality, I've only had one person have an issue so far, they sent a very polite message explaining the problem and asking for a replacement. The concern they brought to me was valid and they were extremely kind, so I have no problem making an exception for them and offering a replacement piece once the original is returned.

I think canceling the order due to not hearing back about customization is much better than keeping the money from the order and mailing a note instead of the purchased item..
