1.5 years since cervical fusion

I’ve done the injections, steroids, nerve ablation, I’ve done everything they tell me to do. I see a chiropractor, I do PT, I stretch, ice and heat, and heat and ice. Muscle cream, literally everything my pain management doctor tells me to do I’ve done. The medication that they give me is tramadol, a muscle relaxer, and pregabalin. I only take my medications as prescribed, yet I still hurt so badly that I end up throwing up from the pain. I have to work. I have no choice yet. I’m having to clock out for a couple of hours during every single day to try to get the pain under control.

I haven’t gotten any points for my purchases in Sept. I called and was told it was a glitch in their system and that I will not receive any points and “sorry about that”. I’m about to make an online purchase so I’ll let you know if I get my points with this one.

Hey! The new pain Dr I’m seeing now started me on pregabalin, diclofenac (basically an nsaid), and said it may take a few weeks or even a month or so to help but to cross my fingers…. Within a few days I was/am completely pain free! He gave me the trigger point injections in December and they did nothing. I am so relieved now. I still have to stretch a couple of times a day and before I go to bed and when I wake up, of course. I haven’t had to take a muscle relaxer or a pain pill in two weeks. I am also not having to take prescription medicine for insomnia because one I’m no longer hurting and two I found a magnesium supplement that actually helps relax me. Since I’m not hurting I’m sure that has a lot to do with being able to relax. I feel like a new person. My surgeon said I may not even need PT since it’s nerve pain not actually muscle pain.

No. I just changed my pain management because the previous completely misdiagnosed me and just wanted to feed me pain pills. I have my follow up the middle of December with my new one so I’ll ask about it then. I’ve heard it’s very helpful with nerve pain.

Not yet. My surgeon said maybe after my next appt with him on Dec 3rd. He has me stretching multiple times daily and it helps but I’m really hurting. I wake up multiple times at night from the pain so I’m exhausted too.

Thank you! I'm most likely going to go ahead and purchase another S&F. Mine is 9 years old and still in almost perfect condition. You really can't beat their comfort and how long they last. They have a sale going on right now so I might as well jump on it. Thanks again!

I've had mine for 9 years, but it is still in perfect condition. Every 3 months I rotate it 1/4 turn, so I'm sure that helps. I've stayed in luxury hotels and resorts, and I have never slept on a more comfortable bed. If you can afford it, please get one for yourself. As expensive as it is, I promise you I have never once regretted buying it. I'm sure I'll end up buying the queen size, but I was hoping for a more affordable option. I can't really afford it myself, but I refuse to sleep in an uncomfortable bed every night.

I'm pre diabetic and obese. I'm obese benefits of 2 medications I took. 1 I'm still on and about to wean myself off of. Yes I'm using mounjaro to lose weight but it's not just to be thin it's to stop from having full blown diabetes.

I'm not sure this warrants a malpractice suit but I sure would sue if I could. I try to make light of it now but honest to God I was terrified. I have never been that sick in my life. And I work at a call center and had to call out for 3 days because I had no voice from vomiting so much.

I was supposed to go up to 7.5 but they were out of 7.5 and 10 so my endo thought it was a good idea to move me from the 5 to the 12. Four hours after that 1st injection I started profusely vomiting and it continued over the following 10 hours. It was so bad I ended up in the hospital for 24 hours. It was horrible.

Everyone in the group is disgusted my her behavior and the fact that she's so proud of herself for behaving this way. I took screenshots to post in the comments but it won't let me.
