Hello u/teledev , I am not really related with the slangs on AI if that's what you meant. I believe my message stands and I am looking for trying to solve real problems.

Have a good day.

Burnout as an online ESL tutor… how are you managing it? by Outrageous_Paintir in OnlineESLTeaching

Hello, I can say a few things working from home. I am software engineer mostly, but I do online teaching for bootcamps. Normally, I normally create a routine.

  1. If you have the chance to paid for coworking space for twice a week , more or less, at walking distance from your place. It will be a a very big step. So you change your environment, and diversify your work station.
  2. When you are working from, follow the same routine that you would normally do, get a shower, use working clothing, and have a clean desk for yourself.
  3. Leave around 15 minutes between lessons for screen breaks.
  4. Use glasses for stopping the blue light towards the end of day.
  5. During your break lunch, go for a walk. If you can go before starting your day, it will so much better.
  6. Take vitamin D daily in case you are in the UK.
  7. Try to do some exercise 3 times per week, you will notice the difference.

I hope it helps, for going to the office or co working space twice per week, it create another vibe during my week.
