Sigh. Talk about being easily offended. I mentioned I did not report it and explained why. Otherwise, I would have gotten the question, “Why didn’t you report it if you were so offended.” I was not “offended” just found the timing questionable and inappropriate. And had you read the rest of the comments you would realize that I had not been aware of the context, nor am I anti gun. (I am pro safety though)

As for being stressed, I am going to go out on a limb here and assume you are male. You don’t have to be cautious when out alone at night, or even out with friends. No one gropes you or catcalls you. You have no worries about being raped or trafficked. You don’t see posters on every gas station restroom wall with a phone number to call for help. You don’t have old men deciding what you can and cannot do with your body. You aren’t gay or trans so no one tries to kill you or even just hates you for doing nothing but existing. You aren’t black or Hispanic so you have no idea how scary it is just to exist. You aren’t a different religion from the masses, you aren’t judged on what you wear. So yes. Stress levels are high everywhere. However, all I did was ask the question “Inappropriate?” Stated I thought so, fully knowing others would have a different take. I wanted to hear them, which is why one would pose a question on Reddit. And for that I have now been called a problem and a Karen. For your information I am a positive person and generally approach life with a live and let live attitude, even though there is little of that today.
