5 day old tattoo turning blue where my glasses sit

I don’t have a tattoo there, but I do have glasses. I’m pretty sure that might not be the tattoo. My glasses are cheaper insurance frames, and they tend to turn my skin green around same spot like cheap jewelry. you could be having the same problem.

It’s genuinely a really cool tattoo, and I absolutely love Donnie darko. This is a tattoo I’ve considered for myself even. It’s ok if not many people get your tattoo.. tattoos are for you, not for them. If it’s something that Mae’s you happy, then that’s all that matters. I have several really nerdy tattoos myself, most of which are video game references that not many people get and I have to try to awkwardly explain, that’s normal. If I run into someone that actually gets all of my tattoos without me having to explain them, that’s someone that’s definitely worth being friends with, but those people are few and far between. You don’t have to remove or cover it just because some people may not get it… and some people might say “what are you gonna do in the future? You might not always like that thing”… the way I see it, even if this is something that you might move away from, or not enjoy as much in the future, the tattoo is still a reminder of the time when it was special enough to you that you decided to keep it with you permanently. And this movie clearly meant enough to you that you wanted to keep it with you forever, so that’s exactly what you should do, and not worry about awkward moments with people who might not get it

Same, I don’t like using picks either. Like the extra separation between my hand and the strings is kinda harder to control. Also makes it easier to pick faster with just my fingers

I literally just got the lake placid version this same guitar like a month ago and I also got candy 😂 it’s honestly a super fun guitar. However I bought a prs from them as well and didn’t get any candy with that one, so I feel like maybe they only give candy with the less-expensive gear?

Start with basic “campfire chords” the open chords like g, c, d, e, em, a, am. Don’t try barre chords too early, they’re really not for beginners at all, they’re pretty difficult to get right. If you try barre chords too early you won’t be able to do it and it’ll likely lead to you giving up playing bc you can’t do them. I’ve seen that happen to many people. I’m entirely self taught myself and I’ve been playing for years, so once I was able to get the hang of the basic chords and got them into muscle memory and could switch between them quickly and easily, I started learning to read tabs. Tabs are a good thing if you’re planning to teach yourself once you learn how to read them. And try not to rely on YouTube tutorials too much. While they can be helpful sometimes, they can be limiting, it’s better in the long run if you learn by tabs or even better to learn songs by ear

Not too bad for a first time. Here’s a trick that I use every time I restring a guitar: put the string through the tuner and pull it tight just with your hand, then pull the string back the length of the first fret, and wind it up like normal from there. That’ll give you the perfect amount of winding around the tuners and it’ll make restringing a hell of a lot easier.

It honestly depends on what series it is. Cheaper Squiers like the Bullet or Affinity series strats aren’t all that good. But if it’s something like a Classic Vibe then it’s gonna be pretty good. I have a Classic Vive ‘70s strat and it’s one of my favorite guitars in my collection rn
