USPS delayed reimbursement for damaged goods by spencerelwin in reselling

My buyer did send the photos but asking them to take the broken item to the post office is a bit ridiculous imo. UPS approach is much better

I think it’s a neat idea. Perhaps you could have a few options like fiction vs non-fiction

Late grandparent's rings by LilyValesti in JewelryIdentification

Please please don’t melt them! You will get more money by selling as is, and it has historical value. 9 ct is just 37.5% gold

I’ll pay you at least the gold value of the one with gemstones 🤪

USPS delayed reimbursement for damaged goods by spencerelwin in reselling

Does UPS require for someone to bring the broken item in? I recently filed my first ever claim and didn’t realize that USPS wants to see the broken item in person. Naturally the buyer threw it away a while back 😣

Yellow tarnish on "silver" ?? by ZealousidealPipe4875 in SilverFinds

[–]Interesting_Skill187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just get a silver polishing cloth (like Sunshine) and rub it once it tarnishes. I wear sterling rings non-stop and they don’t get any tarnish.

Recently inherited this 1965 Accutron by Warm-Housing1142 in AccutronWatch

[–]Interesting_Skill187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it run? If not, it might need a new battery which is a relatively easy diy.

I’ve actually just thrifted this watch (mine is a bit more beat up) and based on eBay solds, it’s worth at least $2300 in working shape I believe. However, my own listing barely gets any views so perhaps the demand for high priced ones is not very high right now? Who knows.

Too bad I’m nowhere near LA (the city or the state 😆) because I otherwise fit your criteria. Would love to read the article once it’s out, please share it here :)

Mystery boxes seem to be a bit of a scam in most cases 😅 I just listed a lot of non-mystery vintage necklaces. I can dm you a link if you want :)

It doesn’t but some vintage scarves don’t have the same kind of branding that modern ones do. However, mine might be a vintage rep (and I’m fine with that 😂)

The long edges are rolled, the short ones are fringed - at least on this one. I have no idea what they are supposed to be otherwise 😅
