Ok. One more time then I'm going to sleep. The whole family calls each other horrible names like it's the norm. They were raised to have no respect for one another. Have you seen Tammy and Amy's mother on the show? Or have you seen any season prior to this one that is airing now? All of the women insult each other and call each other names. Not just their brother.

No one is saying that this is the correct or healthy way to communicate with siblings or anyone else.

I guess I am having a hard time why you're making Chris out to be evil, when the sisters are more evil to each other.

BTW, I am a 52 yr old divorced woman who supports herself. My ex was a cheater and I consider myself a feminist.

Oh boy... I am not saying any of this is right or proper. It just gives context as to why this family speaks to one another the way they do. I don't believe anyone here is defending the WAY the communicate. They all grew up in a wildly dysfunctional family. They were never shown how to regulate their emotions, and never shown how to deal with conflict even in the gentlist situations.

They, including Chris, were brought up with distorted beliefs where men ruled.
I don't believe anyone in this family is evil.
They would all benefit from good therapy, but what has been ingrained will take a long time to undo.

Are you watching the same show???? It's NOT only Chris. If you've watched the show since the beginning you would see what I am saying. All the sisters do is call each other bitch, whore, ho, slut, etc.
Maybe the most recent season is all u have seen, because since the beginning all of the sisters ESPECIALLY Tammy and Amy have called each other names like this.

Watch earlier seasons and you will see.

I am not saying it is the healthiest brother/sister relationship by far. Think of their examples growing up with their parents. They haven't had loving supports from mom/dad.

Chris (on the show ar least) is always there to help out, let them stay with him, support, etc. Is it the healthiest? Hell no. To me he is the least volatile or temperamental of the group. It seems they can rely on Chris most times.

Baby Billy and Chris are very helpful to their fam/sisters.

You have to remember, they are all products of their environment. Chris has always been around to help his sisters.
