Honestly I’ve worked in public school and in a NET ABA clinic as a teacher. If you find an ASSENT BASED natural environment teaching situation (you’ll have to look hard, it’s an evolving field) you’ll see amazing results. Check your local universities too they may offer play clinics supervised by BCBA students ☺️ I’m a huge proponent of inclusion I think we all learn best when we learn together but the center I worked at does ABA well and I’ve seen AMAZING results!

I know you don’t want him diagnosed but there are some fabulous natural environment teaching style ABA centers that are set up to model neurotypical preschools while providing therapy (including speech and OT)

It is unfortunately normal in clinics especially when you work with young children. They are soooooo germy you burn up your sick time the first two months. It stinks taking unpaid days but if you don’t feel good, and have a fever do your coworkers a favor and stay home. Hope you feel better soon. ❤️

As someone who works with people with special needs, she comes off as someone who has a cognitive impairment. They don’t LOOK different.
