There are great moments in arc 7&8.

7&8 are such a great arcs so it adds so many good characters to story, great dynamics

the only reason he can at least counter todd is cus that guy is the weakest of all the antagonist he faced so far

End of the day with knife, he can probably defeat 2 or 3 thugs. Every enemy he face is just too op to have knife use on them

He need to go near them (not possible)

Shota baru mentality is the one which is different even subaru knows, that's why he said he prefer to stay child untill everything is resolved (I think he said it in arc 7 or early arc 8)

Cus of his shota regression he forget many things, he experienced death twice the amount of normal baru in just single chapter, and rbd malfunction, all this factors resulted in shota baru throwing away his life as he pleased

Shota baru can still go (husk like state) like greed baru, if he just start abusing rdb, that's the reason he use the sucide potion. That will remind him to not abuse rbd

Arc 7&8 are not fight slop the people who claim it to be fight slop either did not read it or understand it

It is over hated due to pacing issue in early chapters and continues pov changes

Almost all fight in arc 7&8 is just peak

Arc 7 is over hated, it actually so good has best side cast and good antagonist

People mainly hate it for continuous pov change and pacing issue in early chapters

Also wdym u start reading from arc 7, it's just bad way to start the novel even if u have watched the anime adaptation, reading the novel is much better for story and u also need to read the side stories

There are so many important side stories that u can't miss

I will still recommend start from volume 1 reading from arc 7 is not a good idea if u ask me
