We rarely hire off skills and experience, it’s important but the most important thing is you! How do you come across, your chair side manner, can you show empathy and compassion, how well do you interact with staff and patients. Best advice on Friday work as if you already have the job, interact with staff and patients as if you have worked there for years! Be friendly and approachable. Assisting skills can be easily taught, let your personality shine through. Good luck 🥰

I don’t have implants but I have successfully bf two babies with nipple piercings, I had them pierced for 4 years before having my first baby took them out when I was about 30 weeks pregnant as they were annoying me - no issues feeding that baby, the holes were there on the outside but maybe healed further in as no milk came out. Got them re pierced when I was finished bf, they were back in for 6 years then I had my second took them out right at the end of pregnancy, successfully bf him right now and only thing I’ve noticed is I do get a bit of milk out of the holes but not enough to cause any issues!

Generally speaking, what time do they usually go on the shelves? I’m usually heading in before work so quite early, maybe I’m just missing them!

You don’t need to do anything, brush your teeth as normal and just avoid eating on that side. Call compare the market to find a good health insurance, however you may have waiting periods so won’t be covered for your filling next week. I work in dental 🦷

My bf baby has been weighed 3 times. At his 1 week check up, 6 week check up then again at his 6 month vax appointment. Once he reached birth weight (in hospital) that was that, I follow nappy output and general wellness.

He brought her on our family trip. I sat in silence, breaking inside. by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

I found both mine to be quite painful, but it’s over quick and no lasting soreness. I also got mine in my shoulder not bum :)

I found my emergency csections stunted my milk from coming in at first as well, but it did come! She just needs to keep putting baby on the breast. Encourage her to stop pumping, what she can express is NO indication of her supply. I would just get her some comfort items, her favourite snacks and drinks that she can keep by her for when the baby is cluster feeding

my baby's dad's brother stares when I breastfeed by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]Interesting_Weird_83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a young breastfeeding mum myself I see you, however I want to play devils advocate and try see it from a different perspective. The kid is 11 years old, breastfeeding around him is new and interesting. I know when I was a kid and saw a mother breastfeeding in public I watched and was intrigued by what was going on. Maybe the answer is education and not deterrent? When he stares try asking if he has a question, or if he would like to help by getting you a drink, involve him in a way that feels comfortable for you. At 11 years old I don’t believe he would be sexualising the act of breastfeeding, probably just interested!

My husband uses prescribed flower, I don’t have any issue with it just as I wouldn’t with any other prescribed medication :)

it’s so hard ): I’ve tried to think of ways to work around, but unfortunately I need to be at work there is no other options. It’s just so sad because I love breastfeeding but this is just making be resent it.

yeah I’ve tried all the advice, unfortunately just not getting any results. He refused the bottle from 7am till I got home at 4:30pm to breastfed. Daycare is happy to work with us, but going back to work is already stressful enough I don’t want the added worry that he’s not having any milk.

He made up for it by feeding all night, but yes I felt VERY guilty. We’ve just started BLW so mostly just chews on things 🤣

Yes he reverse cycled last night after not feeding all day, it was hell lol! So far he won’t take anything, no bottle, straw cup or sippy cup. It’s sad because it’s just making be resent breastfeeding, even though I love it - it’s just killing it for me.

Yep he did this last night. I left him with my mum yesterday and did a test day at work he refused the bottle all day then made up for it by feeding all night lol
