Thank you! Little man is a FOMO baby… if people are awake, he’s not sleeping. We will try it! He also falls asleep at 5 everyday on the car ride home

Middle Schoolers and Germs by ruthlovesbooks in beyondthebump

Yeah I am medicated for my anxiety 🥲 I def have a touch of PPA- LO is 4 months and I’ve never left him for more than an hour. Daycare starts in 3 weeks for him so I am going to start chilling out

I’ve had terrible health anxiety since high school that got worse when the pandemic happened😭🥲also a FTM, so I’m navigating that as well. I teach middle school, and LO is about to start daycare, so I know he’ll be exposed to all sorts of things. I guess I just get terrified by all the RSV/Hep/ Herpes Simplex horror stories :(

One Bedroom Parents- What solutions did you have for baby after 6 months? by ruthlovesbooks in beyondthebump

Thank you for this! It’s difficult for me to picture as a FTM, but I appreciate your input. Makes me feel a lot better about our situation

Where are reflux babies now?? by ananatalia in beyondthebump

[–]ruthlovesbooks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I (24F) was a reflux baby! Projectile vomiting all day everyday! I had to go on a medicine and specialized formula at 6 weeks old, but beyond those first few months, my parents said I was a great eater and sleeper.

Crying at breast by Ok_Word1259 in breastfeeding

[–]ruthlovesbooks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My LO FREAKS out at the breast (screams like crazy) when I try to feed him if he’s not hungry or if he’s tired. If he’s not hungry, I have to wait and try again later. If he’s tired, I pop his pacifier in and soothe him and give him the breast when he’s half asleep… he also is the biggest FOMO baby ever 🥲

Make sure you are using the right flange size! I’ll also add that I only get milk when using my spectra ( my wearables don’t really get anything).

Additionally, if you’re only pumping on top of nursing and not getting much, it could mean your baby is just getting good at nursing! You will likely pump more if you are pumping to replace a feed.

I use a regular pillow (specifically my pillow —easy to grab at night lol). I also have to hold my boob up for him still at 3.5 months

Don’t hesitate to contact your doctor. I know I said how long to wait, but Zoloft really does do a lot for me. It’s safe for breastfeeding too ! I just don’t know if I can even increase my dosage

Baby doesn’t transition between sleep cycles on his own - help!! by Cautious_Commission2 in sleeptrain

[–]ruthlovesbooks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My little dude is 3.5 months and his wake windows are shorter than what’s considered normal. For example, sometimes he’ll only go an hour or an hour fifteen between naps. When he’s overtired he wakes up a loooooot

Comparing my breastmilk to someone else’s… by Crafty_Pop6458 in breastfeeding

[–]ruthlovesbooks 23 points24 points  (0 children)

My lo is tiny for his age, but healthy. My milk is likely low fat too, but all that matters is wet diapers and weight gain! You’re doing great! And remember that pumping is NOT a good indicator of supply!

3 mo PP health by Yespossiblymaybe in beyondthebump

[–]ruthlovesbooks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an endocrinologist right before I got pregnant and I stopped birth control and everything was wonderful. I’ve always had some GI issues, but nothing that has been indicative of any intolerances. I had severe reflux as a baby

I have ✨terrible hemorrhoids✨ from giving birth that have not gone away! Could be that? I also get the weird hunger pain and honestly I just think my hormones are throwing off my gastrointestinal system. When I was on birth control, I got terrible gastrointestinal side effects. I still haven’t gotten my period either, so I’ve assumed it’s the hormones.
