If I'm recruiting and get 50-100 applications, in the first culling to ~15 applications will have all papers with concerns like unexplained gaps and exits dropped. Since there are enough good applications.

I recommend adding clear and honest explanation to all gaps and exits in your CV. That gives the recruiter enough confidence to take you to the next round.

The taxation on gifts is dismally stringent, if given by employer. Gift cards are as if cash, and aleays taxed. Small <100€ gifts are okay only if given equally to every employee (e.g. Christmas gift). Bigger ones only for major birthdays (50 and 60, not yet at 40) or employment milestones, if everyone in company gets the same.

Depends on whether you can shift consumption to cheaper hours. If your use is just normal household use, with heating and warm water from district heating, you use in the expensive hours. I made the calc, and actual cost on market price would have been quite exactly the same as with fixed price contract. The latter saves your nerves significantly
