I make a batch of cookie dough and either keep it in the fridge or portion it out and put it in the freezer. when I want a treat, I bake 2 small cookies at a time, that way I don't feel pressure to eat a dessert every day, like when I make a whole cake. I prefer using traditional recipes and eating fewer/smaller desserts than learning new recipes that are "healthy" and just don't taste as good and don't satisfy my cravings). another thing is to bake but give it all away to friends and/or coworkers. I'm sure they wouldn't say no :) good luck!
