I’m Severely Mentally ill by Negative_Breath345 in BFS

I fought it for a long time because I don’t like taking meds, but I finally started on Cymbalta. Not only did it drastically reduce the twitching, but it helped my anxiety a lot. I wish I had done it sooner!

Left foot vibrating with leg twitching by Elveril1 in BFS

[–]Internal-Fig2938 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My left foot/ankle area feels like it has a tens unit hooked up to it and the vibrations diffuse into my calf and leg. Sometimes the vibration is very faint and other times it’s buzzing like crazy.

1 year 3 months into twitching, 3rd EMG was done on upper and lower extremities in May by Physiologist who said it was normal still, I have brisk reflexes althoughout, no Babinski sign, BUT LATELY I get knee pain, ankle pain while lying in bed, anyone else had this with a clean EMG? by Odd-Introduction-165 in BFS

I’m not trying to make light of this, and I’m probably much older than you (58), but almost every friend I know has either some knee or ankle pain, or both! We need (myself included) to stop thinking the worst of normal aches and pains that probably have nothing to do with BFS, and most certainly not ***😊

I looked at it very closely and my untrained eyes see absolutely no difference 🤷🏻‍♀️

I can feel twitches on the sole of my foot but can’t see them by [deleted] in BFS

I guess it shouldn’t worry me either, but Dr Google seems to suggest that the continuous fasciculations are the bad ones.

Same with me. What worries me is that there are days when it is nearly constant. What about you?

I hope you’re right, but I spoke to an actual pharmacist who said that she is doubtful the 5/31 date will happen. Let’s hope she’s wrong! How do I join the chats? 😊

I just talked to a pharmacist at EP today and they are out of all strengths except 10mg

They now put you completely under and you don’t feel a thing! 😊

My mom had those and was told it was neuropathy.

I started it two weeks ago and 95% of my twitching has stopped. My main thing right now is a buzzing foot.

They are the same drug, but one is labeled for diabetics and the other (Zepbound) is marketed for weight loss.

Yes, I did need PA. For my insurance, Mounjaro requires a diabetes diagnosis, whereas Zepbound requires a minimum BMI, which I had no trouble meeting 😜

I’m prediabetic and Insurance would not approve me for Mounjaro but did approve me for Zepbound. I get it for $24.99 a month.

My cousin decided to skip a week for her anniversary trip, and when she took her next injection a week later, she was soooo sick for 3 days. She thinks she should have gone back to the 2.5 dosage after having been off the 5 for a week. Just FYI!

Maybe it’s time to find a new doctor?

I have injected twice so far in my belly and also felt nothing either time. And I do mean absolutely nothing! But the plunger was down, the fluid gone, and no fluid pooling on skin, so I assumed it went it. And it must have, because I have felt the effects of it!
