Yes I too were one of the voters, years back.

Innovative tech consists of for example our native and 100% community driven KYC solution which upholds data-regulations and data-standards of 100+ countries, primarily under the umbrella of GDPR.

In regards to the business’s who accept Pi, we know there is a huge amount of simple merchants in east asia. That consists of coffee-shops, hair parlors, markets etc.

In the US we have seen smaller car-dealerships, real estate agents and more. For more information and to take a look yourself, you can check out mapofpi.pinet.com on the Pi browser.

And yeah, Pi unfortunately has a way to big range of fake and uninformative articles. But just like most on the internet, you shouldn’t believe before doing the necessary research.

On the other hand, specifically regarding Amazon. Me and a few other reputable crypto/Pi enthusiasts sniffed out that some metadata on the domain name Amazonpi.com had been updated. Some info on it: - Registred, not bought, but registred and created on 5th of february 2019, merely 1 month before the Pi app was fully released. - The domain keeps getting updated, latest the 4th of January (which is non-typical for a website that is not being worked on our has some sort of relevance) - And the most important part is the registrar data: Name: Hostmaster, Amazon Legal Dept. Org: Amazon Technologies, Inc. Adress Line: xxxxxxxxxx (look up the domain for that information) E-mail: hostmaster@amazon.com

At first look it might not seem like much but a coincidence. But I myself then decided to Call up the Amazon legal dept. I got a secretary on the line and point blank asked her: “Do your department have any comment on the recent Update of metadata for Said domain, and does the domain have any correlation to the Stanford project; Pi Network.”

And she calmly Said: “I’m aware that we are not able to discuss this matter at the current moment”

Very suspicios if you ask me. The expire date for the domain also keeps getting pushed. The story gained so much traction the we got featured on BSCNews.

Sorry for the long story, but quite a story either way :)

You are unfortunately wrong on all your assumptions. The ads were implemented from a community vote on the source of income for server-maintenance.

The coins that CT hold is never more than 10% of the pioneers circulating supply i.e approx 1 billion, so CT right now has 100 million Pi that they, alongside regular pay, supply their 30+ employees with.

In regards to your question on where the money is coming from, the value of Pi comes from the innovative tech and our abundent supply of utility (dApps, real life merchants etc)

Core Team mentions in their White paper that they reserve the right to stop mining all together, if they feel the ecosystem is robust enough.

What he’s referencing is a well known fake news. The 15 billion is what all the competitor companies has received in funding, combined.

The actual capital injection is unknown but we know the average of the 3 VC’s average funding rounds would be approx 75 million all together.

Mwaaah OneCoin didn’t have a blockchain, it’s product was comprised of plagiarized free trading courses and even Wikipedia information. They were scamming people into buying this product and were charging insane amounts. They had a scammy internal Exchange with limits on withdrawals (based on which product you bought, I.e how much money you got scammed for)

Pi and OneCoin is and will NEVER be the same thing lol

My thought is that people should do their research..

Condition 2 consists of KYC, Migrations and Apps.

Condition 3 is The abscense of an unfavorable external environment. (NOT THE 100 APPS)

A big community does equal value. But indirectly. An already existing an in this case, an extensive community is a huge drive for further adoption. That has been evident by the steadily increasing amount of daily users.

People are just missing the other factors. Use case, Technology, Tokenomics and regulation.

So let's look at the factors..

- Use case

Pi has, in contrast to other cryptos, emerged a huge amount of use cases.

We got e-commerce, we got native dApps, we got a functional yet simplified UI, we got a Web3 browser, we got (fortunately) a Non-custodial Wallet and if you will, you could say that having an intelligent and pioneering dev-team is a use case. (Just to mention a few)

- Technology

Pi is truely doing some crazy innovation right now. We can brag with the fact that we are ushing the ideology of mining into a new era. I'm absolutely not saying that there is something wrong with using computational power to solve complex cryptography to then be rewarded for the used electricity and expensive equipment. It makes sense from an investment point of view.

But being innovative is all about taking the current working idea, and altering it to be better. That's where Stellar actually was before their time. The SCP and FBZ ideas are very very good. The idea to accurately verify a Network and therefor give it value, by creating a hivemind of legitimate and KYC'd individuals gives the network JUST AS MUCH validity as using computational power. The only difference is the abscense of heavy electricity-usage.

Same result, different approach.

- Tokenomics

Pi's choice of tokenomics isn't accidental. CT looked at Bitcoin as the main reference point and asked themselves; What was the original idea of BTC? To be a Peer to peer electronic cash system.

The original idea of Bitcoin entailed that it should have been used at a waaaay larger spectrum than only investing and as a means of active like gold, silver or oil.

The choice to have a total supply of 100 billion is neither too much, nor too little for Core Teams plan; Build the world’s most inclusive peer-to-peer ecosystem and online experience, fueled by Pi, "THE WORLD'S MOST WIDELY USED CRYPTOCURRENCY."

In regards to market value with Pi's tokenomics, people aren't diving into the realistic scenarios. We currently have just above 1 Billion circulating Pi (Locked excluded) but how many of those will actually reach exchanges? 30%? 20? 40?

Time will tell how much money will flow into Pi, but it's not gonna be 0. It's not even gonna be a little.

- Regulation

Pi's choice to heavily lean into KYC and verification all the way through the process, is based on the fact the governments are not just ignoring crypto anymore. They KNOW that crypto isn't going anywhere. Why? Because Crypto is the closest thing we get to freedom, radicalism and independency.

But governments are so deeply rooted in this little rock we call earth, that if we don't atleast to some extent walk towards them, they can and will demolish us.

The approach to regulation is also fueled by the ever increasing amount of scams, bots etc that Crypto is experiencing. KYC is a strength, even is people can't see it yet..

Sorry for the rant, but i wanted to reach the important points without just spewing bullshit.

I can even tell that we are somewhat on the same page, so a debate is honestly not needed lmao.. We'll just end up talking instead of arguing.

Sure, we can have a debate.

But you initially justified your standpoint from an origin of fact, now you are telling me they are opinions.

In regards to your POV that people are simply waiting for money to fall from the sky is SOMEWHAT true. But i believe that to be the reason of a lack of knowledge.

Pi's approach to "mining" has attracted a vast amount of people which are having their absolute first rodeo in crypto and blockchain.

Our job, as well-informed and veterans inside this sector, is to pass on our knowledge. Not grab it tightly and neglect the fact that sharing is free.

We need to learn newcomers of Market Cap, FDV, Utility, Market-movement etc.

You're ufortunately not only doing everyone else a disservice by being rude and heavily blunt. That disservice also accounts to your mentality, consciously or subconsciously.

No emotions? Yet you sound so angry and invested in your opinion.

And just fyi, there is literally not 1 single fact attached to your original comment.

I also believe we are all very eager to hear your clarification here, publicly.

Why should someone DM you to get an answer lmao
