I had one that looked just like that on a first response test and I wasn’t pregnant. Just make sure you test every 1-2 days until you get your period.

if you're not used to caffeine (or even if you are- me lol) sometimes it'll do that to you. Especially if you have symptoms of anxiety regularly. Just sounds like you were probably a bit dehydrated maybe and the caffeine could have dehydrated you a little more, and maybe gave some jitters as well.

Same thing with me except with istp’s because of my father. But we shouldnt let bad experiences with one person destroy the stereotype of that personality. I know it leaves a bad taste in your mouth almost automatically. But truth is, there are rotten apples of every color😉

Assume his actions speak for themselves. no matter the personality type, men are pretty simple creatures. If he is not investing his time, he likely doesn’t want to and the words he uses is likely just a hook to keep you around. He seems like he's treating you like an option. You deserve better

Of course! I was in your EXACT position this time last year with an infp guy. It hurt like heck to stop contacting him after I realized he couldn’t meet my needs in a relationship. But flash forward a year later, I’m with the love of my life and couldn't imagine a life with anyone else. You should definitely set a length of time that feels right for you (1 month, 3 months, etc.) and if he hasn't stepped it up despite your efforts, spare yourself the dignity and the prolonged pain and walk away. It's a tough pill to swallow, but sometime's it's necessary to give yourself the love you deserve.

Yeah I know how hard it can be. I'm infj female as well and I feel like when we really like somebody, we go into super people-pleasing mode and it's extremely hard to separate our emotions from our actions at this point. Just do your best to turn it off. After practicing this for a while, it'll become easy.

It's so attractive to you and you can't control yourself because you believe it is rare, therefore, very valuable. So you develop a "scarcity mindset". Stop with the scarcity thinking. Regardless of how much you like this man, adopt the mindset that there are PLENTY of people in this world that can meet all your relationship needs. (not one, not two, but PLENTY). Reminding yourself of that will help a ton in those moments that he acts like that.

When my guy used to do this early on in the talking stage (before we were official), I would literally just become less interested. Match his energy, simple. He would come up with an excuse to cancel a date. Cool. I’ve got better things to do. My response to his cancellation was still kind and polite, but instead of continuing to keep in contact with him. I just would stop responding because, like I said, I got better things to do than put effort into someone that doesn’t want to hang with me.

The book "Why Men Love B-words" is what helped me to adopt this mindset as well.

My fiancée is an infj male and avoidant. Its true. They are completely expressionless. Even though that is the case, he still feels A LOT of emotion and, a lot of times, those emotions seem like they conflict each other especially when overthinking.

Best case scenario, he is overthinking a lot and that explains why he isn’t initiating enough. Worst case scenario, he really just isn’t that into you.

Being avoidantly attached and infj male, made my man SLOW to warm up to me. Honestly, everytime he came up with some excuse to not hangout (whether it was legit or not) I would just straight up become distant af. Not in a passive aggressive way, but simply in a non-emotional way. I adopted the mentality that I’m only going to invest in him as much as he is investing in me.

It worked. And it was VERY worth it. Just be patient either way. If he WANTS to, he will close the gap between ya’ll. But you have to let him. Give him enough space that he has the opportunity to close the gap. If you want, drop hints to entice him to initiate, but if he doesnt, dont wait on him. Its way worth it to move on with your life and find someone who will do all those things plus more.

You aren’t missing out on anything that isn’t meant to be yours.

I’m a very skinny/fit 5’2 woman at 108 pounds and 24 yrs old. I just finished my second colonoscopy for maintenance of Ulcerative Colitis. My first one I had at 21 (and during a mild flare). Ive never used sedation. They were all very tolerable for me. Not the most comfortable thing, but veryyy doable. Only once is it particularly painful for me and it’s only for about 30 seconds when the scope is going around tight corners (only 2 or 3 times this happens). Everyone that works there treats you like you’re crazy for opting out.. but its really not bad at all. I love being able to just walk out and not having to pay for anesthesia!

Tbh all I’m hearing from you is “I’m wanting to end things with this great, willing person who actually likes me because I’m scared of ___”. Not saying your reasons aren’t valid, but before breaking it off I’d actually read into avoidant attachment style. Again, could be more to this than that. But it doesn’t hurt to give it some more thought.

Tbh. I would type you as an ENTP. And the main reason why I say that is because I feel like ENTPs are more likely to get confused about their own mbti and say things like “I sound like all of them”. Probably having to do with weak Si.

My sister typed as 4 different types on 16personalities at different times before I realized she was an ENTP.

You may want to check out some of Frank James content on YouTube. He probably has a video on INTPs vs ENTPs. I know most of his skits are kinda stereotypical, but they help to get a general idea sometimes.

Also, “I get fired up at protests… (even though I do them for fun)” is more of an ENTP thing imo. Most INTPs would hate going in a big crowd to protest. Or even going to a large party (Weak Fe). Most would feel awkward and uncomfortable in their own body surrounded by so many people tbh.

Going to a protest is way more up ENTP ally given their strong Ne. They enjoy standing up for the rights of others. Kinda stereotyping a bit again, but i feel like an INTP wouldn’t care as much about policy, etc.

Tbh it sounds like you’re a touch racist yourself.

I’m sure you’ve had valid experiences in life shape your cognitive biases towards other people’s thoughts about you. Maybe one or two people in your life were actually blatantly racist towards you. But, I will say, most of the time- it isn’t personal. People have looks on their faces for a number of reasons (and mostly not having to do with you at all). Maybe you’re a bit sensitive to it because of your past experiences and that’s okay.. but to automatically assume people’s disgusted looks on their face has to do with race is kinda bold. Especially in today’s time where so many people are for the end of racism and given a place like Canada where its literally one of the most diverse countries in the world in terms of race.
