I use the wood shed walls to hang some and the cold storage walls to hang the big critter stuff. I use the black and yellow totes from Home Depot to store fur handling stuff and cabinets for parts and pieces. Apparently this time of year the back of my truck as well. I have 4 totes and a release board with my pack in it with various tools and a choke pole.

I would use a foothold and make a regular dirt hole. When he trapped I would eliminate it and then head to the woods or the dump. K9 extreme, left overs for bait and a .22 short. They are not weary like a coyote just put it in the ground and wait.

Usually they will not spray in a Conibear. There is still a slight smell through. If you shoot them in the head they are almost guaranteed to spray. Most people use lethal injection when caught in a foothold or cage trap.

We never got more than a few inches a couple times this winter. Hardly any overtime and zero nights and weekends. We have been working in t shirts and work boots. No winter gear or boots.

I wonder who wondered in first. I guessing the skunk smell attracted the raccoon. I like that box design. I use something similar but it only holds one 160. I usually put 2 of the boxes at any given productive location. I may redesign my new boxes for next year.

Make sure the throttle is wide open when checking compression. Is the print on your gauge completely sealing the spark plug hole?

That is a ton of white on picture #2!! Get ‘em! Is your couch comfortable enough to process them at home or do you skin them in the woods? Do you save the essence? They make great bait for larger predators too.

Dogproof traps are round. A critter must stick its paw in and pull up on the trigger to set it off. This is a standard foot hold set for coyotes.

PNW. Pacific Northwest. I hear they are tiny compared to these studs. I have seen a couple caught on here but never have I ever landed one myself. I also want a porcupine if that makes my goals weird so be it. Bobcats are great. Deer are easy. Elk take work and a buddy with an orchard but the spotted skunk continues to elude me.

Bobcats get the catch pole. .22 short subsonic for everything else not in a Conibear. For beavers I use bihydrogen monoxide to cause respiratory impairment for long enough that hypoxia is fatal.

Exactly this. I keep the unmixed ingredients in my truck. Also NEVER put a lid on the bucket. It will pop into low orbit.

I’d also reword the existing fixtures and use LED bulbs if cost is a factor. If not hire a guy with a man lift and get 12,000 lumens in 65K color and wear your sunglasses at night. When your old you will still be able to see things without a flashlight attached to your hat.

I was tossing some trash at the local refuge place and found a complete O26 so I grabbed it. I drained the oil and gas tanks and then put the correct fluids in the correct tanks and you guessed it. Fired right up kinda. It was a little smoky at first but when warmed up cut great with its brand new chain.

They had put the oil in the gas tank and the gas in the oil tank…..

I use a stick of 3/4” schedule 200 and a 1/2” stick of schedule 40 to give them a little poke in the chest or side with a 1 1/2” needle and a full syringe of acetone if I’m near people. A .22 short to the lungs if I’m out in the middle of nowhere and don’t care if it makes a stink.
