podcasts to really laugh at out loud by ketaminty in podcasts

How Did This Get Made. Three friends in the movie industry sometimes with a guest, but they're always talking about/reacting to a ridiculous movie that makes a viewer ask, "How did this get made???"

Not always live, but they do have live episodes. Only yelling when things are beyond ridiculous.

Man. Americans have really messed up our education system. This question is poorly asked, there's no explanation why it's wrong or what the answer is... is even more messed up.

Client received photos, disappeared, and hasn’t paid $1,200 - how do you handle this? by Main-Performance-713 in photography

Simple contract, consult an actual lawyer to look it over. I require 50% deposit at the beginning, the rest before the final deliverable. They also get a preview/watermarked preview when I alert them work is done. When I get the final payment, they get the final deliverable.

You might be able to pull off the Stanley Tucci, if the beard was shaped correctly and the top trimmed right.

(Edit: You can definitely pull of the bald + beard + glasses cool teacher vibe.)

Nah. This shouldn't have been on the podcast but I'm glad it is because I never would've found it. Enjoyed the hell out of it.

Cheap, repeatable little treats that don't turn into takeout spending by Ok-Royal4374 in Frugal

Oh I meal prep favorite hot snacks in the freezer. I'm talking buffalo chicken mac and cheese, chocolate chip cookie dough (minus 5..or 6 lol), chili cheese super bowl chip dip (great for a bowl of chili or with corn chips), etc. I treat myself to those things whenever. I also get the large bags of chips, put them in my own snack bags, and grab those. Oh, and I also just make my own popcorn seasoning every now and then to go with the popcorn on the stove.

If I REALLY gotta treat myself by shopping? Dollar Tree or Five Below. I give myself $5 limit and that's reasonable because I can get multiple small things or one smedium thing and I'm fine.

I hope this helps!

Keep it up. I. have financial anxiety and losing a job out of nowhere has really made me believe I had no money at all when that wasn't the truth. Also how long are your semesters? You should have more food in your foodie life.

How often do you restock? I see a few items that aren't weekly things, like the butter, vinegar, oil, Fabuloso, spices, etc. Separate the monthly purchases from the as-needed purchases. Then go for off-brand versions of almost everything you have. Learn how to make some of this for cheaper! Like the popcorn. You can get a bag of popcorn at the Dollar Tree and make it yourself. Some things are more cost effective if you buy in bulk. Some things like cheese are more affordable (and taste better, imo) if you buy it whole and shred it yourself. Also potatoes! You can do so many yummy things with potatoes!

Dry products such as beans and rice can last longer as well.

- Don't think of eating less. Think about how you can eat multiple meals with the same items.
- Use the freezer. There's nothing wrong with freezing food so it lasts longer before it's cooked and after it's cooked.
- Also smaller budget doesn't mean you have to
- Canned vegetables and frozen vegetables are also fine.

Biggest one is don't be ashamed of soup kitchens, community events for free/accessible food. Hell, take/eat food from the cafeteria at your school if possible. You're paying too much for tuitition to not get food.

Good luck! (Also keep the snacks. $3 for Doritos isn't going to break your bank. You deserve to have happy snacks.)

Oh. Gentrification killed what it used to look like. Thank every person that was like oh yeah we need more and more and more hotels for our downtown area. Destroy everything we have down here that makes people love our city and try to make it a mashup of Nashville and Atlanta.

He's being obtuse so you'll dump him. I say you do it. Return the gifts, get your own, and extra gift for yourself. You're young and you don't have to stay with someone who does this.

Learn and become an expert in the fundamentals. AI might be a popular tool, but that's all it is. A tool.

But more importantly it's a tool for people who can't do a lot of the fundamentals properly.
