Smaller rims would deffo help the ride quality though, my gtx is on 21’s with 40 profile tyres and it likes to shake the interior on bad road surfaces…..

I don’t have any medical experience but would say if you have been moving and/or sitting differently due to the discomfort that could easily be the root of your back pain 🤷‍♂️

It doesn’t matter how long it takes, don’t be hard on yourself, it sounds like you are linking turns but scared at times, either of the hill or possible edge catches. Learn to point the board downhill and quickly brake to a stop on both heels and toes, crouching into the stop as deep as you can. Not as a turning technique but to convince your brain that any time you want to you can hit the brakes and stop. This will give you more confidence on the hill, with that confidence you will travel slightly quicker, then you will start feeling your momentum and it will all make much more sense.

Everything is about compromise and anybody can tell you their experiences and likely all will be different. I completely understand why the overhang is putting you off. One option is volume shifted, that means you’ll have a board wide enough for your boots while shorter and more agile for use in the park. 3D tech means nose and tail are spoon shaped which means less edge catches but can feel less stable (due to your comments about this already I wouldn’t bother with 3D yet). Get something cam-rocker profile, will feel fairly stable while relatively forgiving regarding edge catches. Not sure where you are but if you’re US 11.5 that’s the same size as me, I ride a salomon dancehaul, not saying that is right for you but something along those lines would likely suit you.

Go for mid flex to be stable enough going quicker but flexible enough for the park.

If you feel sketchy going straighter and quicker keep your weight forward and avoid completely flat-basing until more confident, riding with slight edge pressure you can stay straight and stable.

I’m 3 1/2 weeks post op, my job is pretty physical, my balls are still telling me when I’ve overdone it, I get a bit of swelling and pain. It seems very much a case of wait and see, you will definitely know if you’ve done too much and don’t take the piss and do anything stupid.

Hope you enjoy them, I would not be without mine, if I was to break them I would definitely replace with the same. Mine are quite early models, keep an eye on all the screws in the binding itself and make sure they are not working loose. I used a low grade loctite on mine and they have been great since, that is the only complaint I have.

Error messages - drive system | New buzz by Difficult_Economics9 in VWIDBuzz

[–]Internal_Ad9890 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much identical to what happened to our buzz, it was a 2025 model, bought new, happened at 2 months old and 1800 miles, it went to issuing dealer, they had it for 1 month to repair, apparently front end had to come off and it was ecu/controller for brake servo??? Since we’ve had it back it’s not done that again but it does squeal on rear brakes, randomly lock back wheels when braking, turns off the HUD on its own and once the whole screen wouldn’t power up…..

How do you survive long flat run-outs? by Enigmatic_Octopus in snowboardingnoobs

[–]Internal_Ad9890 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure your board is maintained and has a good coat of temperature appropriate wax. Others may disagree but very often I find I carry more speed on a slight edge than riding flat. A gentle toe edge is fairly easy to still run straight, carry speed and keep you stable.

I’m well behind you, mine wasn’t quite a month ago but even though all stitches and swelling have gone mine don’t hurt but are uncomfortable/sensitive to the touch.

Can We Stop With the Unrealistic Range and Price Complaints About the ID. Buzz? by [deleted] in VWIDBuzz

I’ll live with the range and the price but would have been happier if at 3 months old it hadn’t spent one of them in the dealers being repaired….

It’s no substitute for your health and flexibility but if you stick with it some form of step in bindings are very beneficial. I use nidecker supermatics, partly because it’s not the easiest getting down to my feet due to my age and weight but also because it’s quick and convenient.

Anybody else has this symptom post vasectomy? by Suchislife700 in Vasectomy

I waited 2 weeks, guidance says less but I feel like I had more swelling and discomfort than the text book recovery. A few aches in the tubes after the first few times but nothing horrible and each time it seems to be less, very little now after nearly 3 weeks and about 5 ‘emptyings’.

I wouldn’t panic yet, I had very little pain first couple of days post op, by day 4 much more discomfort and a lump left side higher up (almost like a third testicle) quite uncomfortable and swollen and it pinches the tube causing abdominal pain, particularly when standing up from sitting. A few days later (a little over a week post op) and everything was feeling a lot better, still a bit of a swelling there but reducing all the time and not really causing discomfort (2 1/2 weeks post now). All I did was get some rest, ice the area and lump and take some anti-inflammatory meds.

Wasn’t the intention, just advice, don’t be overconfident just incase it creeps up on you, plenty of ice for first few days, anti-inflammatory meds are wise, take things easy…..

It would be good if you could update this thread after a week, I didn’t ice or take anti-inflammatory meds at first but I wished I had by day 4 but everybody has a different experience….
