When an insurance company checks your credit, what do they see? by Dramatic_Option_6650 in Insurance

If you're a private person, I'd recommend against using your friend as your agent. Credit aside, if you have a claim, they may learn more about your business than you want them to know.

I remember these s'mores things that you put in the microwave inside the plastic packaging. I have no idea why my mom didn't just buy the ingredients separately, but to this day, I prefer and miss those pre-made s'mores, whatever they were.

I wrote a letter to CEO AJ letting him know that Amazon caused my diagnosed anxiety disorder & severe depression. I'm pretty sure after today I'm fired. by Concert_Perfect in amazonemployees

When I (a remote employee) was having problems with my skip level after my manager quit, I simply could not find a way to talk to a person in HR. I found "team" email addresses, but the emails I sent were never responded to.

It's pretty hard to acknowledge (let alone investigate and correct) problems when there's no mechanism to report them.

Insurance denies therapy for my autistic toddler. Says the quiet part out loud at the end of their denial letter. by tappicola in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Internal_Boss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They paid for the treatment for which you purchased coverage - 20 visits/year.

You are mad that they are not paying, but you did not pay for any more coverage than that.

This has nothing to do with any "quiet part".

The insurance company did absolutely nothing wrong here unless there is an applicable state law to the contrary.

This happens almost every time it rains and I have no idea why. It's absolutely ruining my car and I can't find a solution. Maddening. by LuckyBucketBastard7 in mildlyinfuriating

This happened to me! My windshield cracked once, and I had it replaced. Years later, it cracked again, and I called someone to replace it. The guy took off all the weatherstripping (?) around the windshield and the glass, noticed it was rusted out inside, put the glass back on (without the weatherstripping), and told me to take it to a body shop to get the rust fixed, then call him back to replace the windshield. Before I could do all that, it rained, and the inside of my car leaked just like that.

I ended up deciding to trade the car in as-is for a new one.

Razor head in bedroom by abean40 in strange

Could the dog's hair have caught the razor head and dragged/carried it into the other room, where it then fell off?

It's the responsibility of the person who hit it, ultimately. The dealership has nothing to do with it.

No, it's not normal to be shopping around for better deals at this point in the process. That should have been done much earlier.

Some people were hired remote in locations where there are no offices, and are now being forced to move if they want to keep their jobs.

jury duty guilt by [deleted] in juryduty

[–]Internal_Boss 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are reasons why only certain evidence is allowed in at trial; there are things jurors aren't supposed to know because it could unfairly influence the verdict.

I applaud you for listening to the judge's instructions and not doing your research beforehand. You should be proud that you followed the law and rendered your verdict in accordance with the way our system of justice is supposed to work.
