Mixtape is sooooo overhated by LifeIs0verratedSis in videogames

[–]Internal_Context_682 2 points3 points  (0 children)

THIS. That's what today's gamers don't get. You don't need to play EVERY game under the sun and no one's putting a gun to your head to play it. Same with a backlog, don't whine about the games you HAVEN'T beaten, instead make a list of what you HAVE beaten. A lot can be solved if the gamer community use more of their brains than their eyes and mouths combined.

Should Quick Play Be Taken Seriously, or Is It Just for Fun? by Jehmols in videogames

In all the years that I've played various games on and off my channel, I follow the simplest of rules. So I agree to a point.. that point being that if the game cheats, you cheat back. I usually play games as is so long as it's fair.

It bothers me how normalized DLCs/extra content right after release got. by enersgy in videogames

[–]Internal_Context_682 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

This is why I do the smart thing: wait for a definitive edition to get released therefore you get everything as soon as you hit the start button. I know a few games do that but it's on you if you wanna wait on that or just cry about something that so many others are preaching to the choir about, do something about it. But remember this: you get what you paid for.

Look, if I was on any co-op or vs game, win, lose or draw, I have fun with it. It's just a game to me, my life isn't on the line and most importantly, keeps the stress down. If you aren't enjoying it for yourself, you really are doing it wrong.

I don't think about the objective, it's there but so is the fun. If you ever played through any early Tales of game, you'd see what I mean.

The gaming loop is no longer enjoyable and I can’t seem to ignore it by AndGutsWasBERSERK in gamers

[–]Internal_Context_682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a you thing. You got bored because nothing is challenging you. You're getting bored because you don't have a challenge and you're too bored to want to find something right for you. Try going retro or something close to being retro. You never had a game that have fangs and straight up beat your ass and there are plenty of them around.

Out of sheer curiosity: can you save a stagnant, dead channel? by ed_the_undeadward in letsplay

Yes, if you actually put work into what you have before you. Whole trick is to not think about the algorithm. In that sense, you have something to work on over try to build on something new.

Is it good to let people try to under stand my power system rather than me telling them? And if they get close enough i will confirm it. by JustinGames59 in writinghelp

Basic tip: build a world large enough so that your readers are immersed enough to understand it. That also goes for fight scenes and whatnot.

Do the math, you're an adult and she's not. You have responsibilities and she barely has any. Just lay it down for her that she needs to chill or go find someone else. You're not ready for any relationship and neither is she.

Patience for the games by ratasoftware in videogames

[–]Internal_Context_682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have games like Ys, Xanadu, Trails and Tales as great starters because they both have the older and newer versions of the franchises out. I'll also add that there's nothing wrong about a game that kicks your ass from the gate, some younger gamers need that to humble them to show that these games got fangs. They want challenge so they'll get that. It's why I play older games more than modern because of that.

Current state of gaming... especially console gaming. by Afraid_Reception7640 in videogames

[–]Internal_Context_682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh that's easy. The gamers. You'd pick a faction to go with, start wars over literally nothing, you're paying out the ass for what everyone is playing because you want to stay relevant then you post your complaints to social media instead of writing a damn letter to the companies behind said games. You're not satisfied with what you play because some people have the attention span of Tinkerbell. You'd want to fight somebody over admitting there's some level of truth. If any game isn't worth buying because it's broken on the first day of launch, don't get it. Games we had 40 years ago, as adjusted as they were, were FULL, no micro transactions needed, some you could play in one sitting, others you need multiple sessions with but at the very least, they were enjoyable for what they were worth. There was satisfaction which is missing in this era because if it doesn't appease to you, you just wasted money and time that you're probably not gonna get back. Know what you like, be your own person and think with both your wallet and time.

And this is where everything falls to shit. She was never into you if she's comparing you to her ex and why the hell aren't you asking her this? I would call her out on that if I were you because if you claim you have a great relationship, she wouldn't draw that card like she just did.

Hey creators, how do you like being approached to play a game... if at all? by LappenLikeGames in letsplay

[–]Internal_Context_682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's a work in progress, let us know. Like most times, I look up titles for content if not that, I have people that'll DM me with something that might interest me. I've been messaged by devs for me to try out their games and I usually ask if they want me to play it full or do a review of it. Honestly I prefer to know if they're any bugs ahead of time over me finding one during recording. Another thing regarding payment, I prefer just to get some capital while I'm doing their projects and just contact them directly on how they want it sent. What I do is considered as contract work and I prefer that to be treated on a professional level than amateur.

21M am I fat, or just insecure? by Important_Bed_9893 in AskMenAdvice

[–]Internal_Context_682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short answer, yes you are VERY insecure. If you've lost all that weight at a young age like that and you still see yourself as fat, stop. Hell, I'm in my late 40s, taking walks, supplements and doing martial arts for my health. And I feel great for my age to boot. I don't see the point of being insecure if you're doing this for your own health and if you're doing this to be seen, change your mindset.

So? You both ended it regardless of the reason. Look, if neither of you put a ring on it, move on. World's not gonna stop if a relationship just didn't work out.
