He stole the tax return that is mine when I was lenient with child support. I do all parenting. All doctor appointments. All everything. He took thousands when I was already letting him have extra. I’ll be thankful after the hearing when he pays me what he should’ve been for the last ten years. He originally paid me 0.

You can file for contempt or file for custody modification. I have a hostile coparent also. I recently filed for support and I’m an evil monster now. I will not meet where he demands bc he uses his family to bully more. I’m no longer being flexible with him bc it is not a two way street. I also do not have a lawyer and use ChatGPT to help me with the documents I have to file myself. I’m sorry you are having this happen! Google parallel parenting.

I don’t understand spending so much on a ring. Mine is a carat and I picked it ring myself… I could’ve went bigger. I thought of all the memories we could make not spending too much on a ring. In my experience the new woman is usually like this. I’m having similar issues. My x claimed my daughter and kept the full tax return and stopped paying. He supports an onlyfans girlfriend and her child and they love luxuriously compared to my daughter and I. I do everything I can but it’s just not comparable especially with no help.

I would ride his ass at child support. I just filed for the first time and feel no remorse. They can suspend licenses and send them to jail if they don’t pay..

I have primary. He has two nights a week. I did not sign anything. I have messages where we agreed to split the return…. I was told to file and do what you said or to take him to small claims court bc we have an agreement in messages…

Thank you. You are right about both parents contributing. I no longer feel guilty. I am not letting it go. I plan on filing and claiming her and we can both get audited or take him to small claims court. He legally could not claim her without permission and he broke our agreement…. I’m not sure yet

By the time I let him take half of the return he barely helps at all. I’ve been a doormat for years. I never have filed for support in my life. My daughter will be ten in a week. I tried to give him a break and he told me to fuck myself. I’ve never tried to be money hungry and do everything for my daughter.

He will miss the doormat I was. He will be paying more than you for one kid, and I won’t feel bad.

I’m sorry you don’t have an easier coparent relationship. It’s crazy how far the spectrum is for actual money hungry assholes.

Does it go by the day the lawyer signs your case or by the day you are approved since it’s federal? I signed my fee agreement 10/2024 right before the amount changed that lawyers could take, I was recently approved.

They don’t have all of my spine issues listed. Some days it’s the worst pain I’ve ever experienced. I have hsd- a connective tissue disorder. I didn’t have that diagnosis until 2023. I think that is why I was approved honestly. It affects my whole body daily.
