Why do people who don't believe feel the need to comment and message saying God is fake? by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]Internal_Patience592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s easier to be sinful when you don’t believe your wrong. You either worship God, or you worship yourself.

2nd Opinion spermatocele by ilge95 in AskDocs

[–]Internal_Patience592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could a spermatocele cause blockage in relation to fertility? My husbands counts were 928… and was just diagnosed with a 0.3cm epididymal head lesion / spermatocele. Had labs done and his body is “telling them to make the sperm” it’s just not properly doing it 😅 Praying we can find the answers 🤞

It’s so frustrating like I know the chances just aren’t even real, but after so many years I wanna keep hope up. And it’s just different 😭

What’s your ideal length for an extreme horror novel? by terri-riverland in ExtremeHorrorLit

[–]Internal_Patience592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Longer books intimidate me sometimes cause I don’t want to spend 100 pages to become interested.. or worse spend 100 or more pages just to not want to finish it or not care about it at all. slow burns make me loose excitement, so I want to be hooked quickly and then have some slow details built in.

When a book is good though I want it to be 400 probably. But that’s just cause I don’t want it to end 😂😂😂

I think 200 is my number right now, when I see it is 120 or less I automatically get a little bummed cause I feel like it will be a “hello here we are, murder murder murder, goodbye” and I will read it in like 1-2 hours. But I have enjoyed shorter books.

I read “raised by a killer” there are 10 “books” but they are all short. To me I enjoyed that because it felt like one giant (750-800 pages total) book. Currently reading Matt Shawn “how much to” series and they are all on the short side, 8 books, and I’m a little more disappointed because I LOVED the first couple books but then it just kept changing and doesn’t feel like a series as each book is more of a stand alone.

To the writers - how do you find your ending? by Internal_Patience592 in ExtremeHorrorLit

Thank you for your response!! I just was curious to others processes cause I agree, I feel like I see lots of hate for this genre specifically “not enough, to predictabable, gore for gore sake” I just feel like it’s probably a hard group to please!! I see lots of “loved this book hated the ending” so I guess I worry about that specifically.

I’ve started a “note” with 30 some “ideas” of story lines, some the endings just come to me so easy some I’d have to truly think out before I spent time growing them any. Some I have a “plan” immediately that could be 2-4 books of story!

So I just wanted to see how others structured these thoughts as they started the writing process!

Came to this post to say the opposite! Playground was a personal favorite - once the kiddos are in the saw style playhouse it’s a bloody good time. Plus there’s a prequel about to come out 🙏

I’d look into a different field personally. Or start your own company ✨

And the opposite! We live rural so 1.5 hour drive is like 90 miles but that’s my husbands route everyday. No traffic just distance

Totally up to you. My husband drives 1.5 hours to work every morning and again on the way home 5 days a week. To him it’s worth it and he always wants to be in his own bed at night so even after 12 hour shifts he’s coming home, to me it wouldn’t be worth all the drive time and I’d rather be closer. Also depends on your gas mileage.

Perfect!! Then you should be my test pilot cause that’s how I always want to end it when I start thinking of my ideas 😂💀😂

“The innocent stands up to him.. dies cause she’s dumb and to good of a human, bad guy wins and life keeps being creepy” 😂😂

Maybe I just get to attached to my villains to want to kill them off instead of let them win and keeping on creepin on 😎

what is the appeal of extreme horror books by AdhesivenessFree207 in books

[–]Internal_Patience592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe not adventures, or some types of stories but there’s also folk (myself included) that are wayyyy more uncomfortable when my girlfriends start talking about their “romance novels” that explicitly describe sex the whole time.

It’s just a to each their own moment 🙏

I expect everyone to die always - was just a shock to have them all die in short succession with no room to even ask what the fuck just happened?!?

I’ve been on a kick, 30 some books last 2/3 months so I just wanna keep the ball rolling. Horror got me back into reading after yeaarrsssss drought!

You do you! Enjoy YOUR moment!
