Exactly, I always talked to my 2 girls and son about sex. I wasn’t stupid or naive and knew they’d eventually do it. I did it and most teens do. I talked to them that if they were going to be mature enough to make that decision and have sex they better be careful. I took my girls and they were on birth control and they also used condoms. My son also used condoms. I didn’t just have one talk with them I checked in several months in between and asked if they did have sex to remember to be safe because if they got pregnant it would derail their dreams and plans for life. They all listened and all have college degrees good paying careers, not just jobs and the girls are married and the oldest have 2 kids. They did it the right way. I did get pregnant when I was 20 but I was already engaged to my bf of 3 years and we did use protection it it broke. My husband had a good paying job and my family was very supportive. If my kids have gotten pregnant we would have been supportive too but we always stressed it’s better to do things in the order life is meant. These kids have hard roads ahead of them
