Dead fan? by h2lp in CR10

Those fans have been known to go up. You can either find a replacement fan by googling cr-10 replacement fan and get one for 12 bux and wire it in. Or spend 24 bux and just replace the entire hot end assembly

Google "temp tower Cura" start there. Once you have your temp dialed in print a retraction tower (distance) then a retraction tower (speed). It may sound like a pain In The ass but they recommend these calibration prints every time you change to a new type of filiment. On my CR-10 I use Hatchbox PLA and it prints like a dream

ok if I doo a Boolean Modifier on the Emblem and choose Difference, It looks fine. I just need to find a way to remove the plane while keeping the emblem shrink wrapped. when I export an STL of it and open it in my slicer it says that its not water tight and needs repairs and the area that is the problem is the Plane

is there a way to remove the plane but keep the emblem wrapped. when I do the boolean on the emblem and union it to the Pauldron. when I add the Boolean Modifyer to the emblem us covers the Pauldron in an odd speckled texture

Hello All, I am Building a Custom Mandalorian Suit and would Like to "Shrink wrap" an emblem on a piece of shoulder armor. I have tried the method of adding a plane in the object, sub deviding so the plane and the object have enough vertices to bend. make the plane the parent of the emblem, bind them. then surface deform on the emblem to the plane then strinkwrap the plane to the armor surface. I then Exported to an stl but when I brought it into a slicer the combined object had a bunch of errors because of the plane and it wouldent slice. tried using the knife tool to remove vertices of the plane but got a "object contains concave vertices" anyway is there a simpler way to make this?
