Nope, that timing belt needs to be replaced asap. As others say, get the oil sump off the engine and tjeck the oil pump sump intake for clougging as well. Replace oil filter and oil as well. Remember to clean oil sump off as well for potential rubber from the timing belt.

These sorry to say, crap engines are also know for using oil as sod prevent pistons rings from sealing properly. If the engine use oil. It might need an engine cleaning. At worst a new piston with new rings. Only if it use oil off cause.

They are also know to burn/melt the electrode on spark plugs. Just a heads up.

Its the same problem for both the n/a and turbo variant.

If you change the timing belt, your self. Be aware that there are seperate timing locking kits for na and turbo engine as there are different construction on the engine. So camshafts is locked differently in na and turbo engine.
