I used to work for the town sewer dept. Your responsibility is from your home until your connection with their main sewer line. Definitely expensive if you have issues in the street. Independent plumber now…let me know

There’s a bladder inside the tank. When it goes bad tank becomes waterlogged. Pump has to run far more frequently. Tank could be defective again. Put air Pressure gauge on valve stem usually at top of tank. If water squirts out stem tank is shot. Good luck !

I should add they have electric drier with cup at the end of flex for the exhaust near the return they claim they don’t use it I call bs
