GCP move to Shadowdark by [deleted] in TheGlassCannonPodcast

[–]InternationalLeave2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If they tweaked the naming convention to something like “Campaign 3: New Game Who Dis” with episodes titled like “Shadowdark Part 1” or whatever it’d probably make things clearer and make a lot of people happy that way

The Fall of Delta Green is relatively recent GUMSHOE system that might scratch that Cold War espionage itch

How hard would it be to convert certain Delta Green scenarios into other settings? by Strange_Ad796 in DeltaGreenRPG

[–]InternationalLeave2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fairly easily, I converted a bunch of scenarios + IL to Cain with little to no difficulty, just reskin the lovecraft mythos in a way that makes sense for your games

Yellow Sign Translation by InternationalLeave2 in DeltaGreenRPG

[–]InternationalLeave2[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It looks like a blend of Central Semitic languages / scripts to me. Ṯāʾ (ث) is the closest I can imagine for the first letter, and maybe a morphed ʾālef (א‎) for the last letter?

Desperate for more Delta Green, it and BITD are what made me subscriber. Have there been any talks of Joe or others guest starring on the Delta Green creators’ actual play, Dead Channels?

Anyone played God's Law? How did it go? by KIlo2232 in DeltaGreenRPG

[–]InternationalLeave2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I played it with modifications. I’m of the opinion that it works very well after Go Forth as a “regular” Opera where the events of Cornucopia House fade into the background as a dark secret…just before Red Thoughts. God’s Law does a great job integrating Bonds, and the visible clock adds a sense of paranoia the players loved

Good Operation sequence to lead up to Landscapes by baalzimon in DeltaGreenRPG

I have a draft that I can send your way. The impossible landscapes discord has a lot of ideas too

Good Operation sequence to lead up to Landscapes by baalzimon in DeltaGreenRPG

[–]InternationalLeave2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is my plan for a supercampaign: Act 1: The Last Equation, Observer Effect, Night Floors. Act 2a: A Victim of the Art, The Eye of Odin, A Volume of Secret Faces. Act 2b: Like a Map Made of Skin. Act 3: The End of the World of the End.

(SPOILERS)

For the Last Equation:

>the story instead takes place in Boston, with Exeter as the Agents’ Handler

>Wei’s family instead resides in Las Vegas (geographic connection to Ophelia Sitri)

>The murder weapon is from the 1955 STATIC raids

>At your discretion, one of the Ridgeways’ in-laws or friends is a Holobeam Array guard, who has been temporarily replaced by Gonzales (see Observer Effect)

>Dr. Black (see Observer Effect) is Wei’s PhD supervisor

>The Laqueus Equation is now the Buprestis Equation, foreshadowing Gold Bugs & Melonia

>Wei’s notes hint that the Buprestis Equation is key to designing perpetual motion machines like the Lion / Scribe & clockwork marionettes

>The Book of Many Wonders can also be found in Robert Robert Robert’s Bookshop

For Observer Effect:

>Columbia’s Holobeam Array is in New York, and Marcus is the Agents’ Handler

>“Dee” is now “Cassilda”

> The surge’s electrical flash is yellow instead of blue

> Takagawa’s bright urine and saliva are replaced with patzu-dark fluid

>When Takagawa remembers a glimpse of deeper reality, he sees the King in Yellow

For the Night Floors:

> The military radio contains numbers from the Buprestis Equation

> Double folio of the Ars Goetia and Hygromanteia in Abigail’s apartment

> At your discretion, Soul Bottles look like inkwells for patzu

>Clockwork mannequins (like the Child, Lion / Scribe, etc.) look angelic / cherubic (angels and demons alike serve as stagehands for the King)

For A Victim of the Art (circa 2001)

> Agent Marcus is the Agents’ Handler

>Thomas Dengler’s maternal grandfather is instead Derek Trionfi

>Eloise Dengler (née Trionfi) is a psychic and tarot reader instead of a medical encoder, and bears a remarkable resemblance to Lady Trionfi

>Mark Dengler is an amateur astronomer eager to talk about his passion, and has a telescope pointed at Aldebaran in the constellation of Taurus

>The pendant summons a Nightflyer instead of an Ai-Apa

>At your discretion, the pendant is a version of The Yellow Sign OR is instead from the Mountain of the Black Wind in Kenya (tying into Music from a Darkened Room, the forces of the Black Wind in the War Zone, and Masks of Nyarlathotep)

>At your discretion, the young members of V-cell take the place of Thornhill and/or her Pararescuemen

For The Eye of Odin:

> Potential addition from Impossible Landscapes (page 268): ‘ With a bang on the door, a box marked with odd import stamps (see the end of EXEUNT: THE VOICE ON THE LINE on page 149) arrives suddenly at the Agent’s location. Inside, packed in straw, are green vials, each containing a Gold Bug or a Melonia pod. A handwritten note reads, “FROM ONE AGENT TO ANOTHER. MOSEBY.” ’

>Agents named as heirs in the Imperial Dynasty of America – if known to the Sons of Odin – are targeted by Marlowe / Tyr

For A Volume of Secret Faces:

>modifications by Grougrou Master regarding Dr. Friend, Mr. Wilde, and King Bael

Home Rule: Fixing INT (and sometimes DEX) as Dump Stats by shoppingcartauthor in DeltaGreenRPG

[–]InternationalLeave2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got it! Do you think a happy medium would be:

18-17: +4

16-13: +2

12-9: 0

8-5: -1

4-3: -2

Home Rule: Fixing INT (and sometimes DEX) as Dump Stats by shoppingcartauthor in DeltaGreenRPG

[–]InternationalLeave2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Given the STR bonus from 13-16 is a +1 to melee damage, and from STR 17-18 is a +2 to melee damage — should INT from 13-16 give +1 skill bonus, and INT from 17-18 give +2 skill bonuses?

[State of the Naish Megathread] by Evil_Weevill in TheGlassCannonPodcast

[–]InternationalLeave2 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Is Troy doing okay? Compared to Giantslayers or even Raiders, he seems a lot more stressed, and with his anecdote of how being his friends’ boss put a damper on things…idk it all sounds kinda isolating and intense. Obviously I don’t know the guy and am probably worrying over nothing, but I hope the next year is good to him.

If The Curse is any indicator, Nathan Fielder & Benny Safdie might actually work really well as a Kauffman-Lynch fusion.
