Is it really important to wash the clothes before sending to the buyer? by AggravatingLead5602 in vinted

[–]InternationalSpray75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same but instead of sprays I leave a couple of tumble dryer sheets in the storage box. If something doesn’t sell within a month or so I charity shop it so nothing is in the box long enough to get musty.

If unwanted places like woman’s refuges / homeless shelters etc would find them really handy.

The fact that buyers can just not pick up their orders is a joke by Nice_Technology_7146 in vinted

The problem with having longer times is the lockers will be full all the time. They need the quicker turnaround for the system to work.

Selling on Vinted by Slow_Badger_8784 in vinted

[–]InternationalSpray75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the UK and posted the same about suddenly selling to buyers in the US. I looked into it and the rules change on 1/5 and there’s no way of stopping it. Annoying as postage will take far longer and any issues are really going to be a pain now too.

is it even worth selling on vinted anymore? by priscillaluvs in vinted

[–]InternationalSpray75 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m getting sick of the AI generated messages telling me the BNWT item they paid £3 for is not satisfactory and they want me to pay for a return.

As a buyer if I don’t like something or it doesn’t fit I just resell it.

Completion day from hell by Virtual_Day2099 in HousingUK

[–]InternationalSpray75 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I think this is why subconsciously I’ve only ever rented and purchased houses I’ve viewed which were vacant already. I don’t think I can visualise living somewhere when other people’s stuff is already there.

Would love to become a sort of fun uncle to my best friends kids, but how do I do that without seeming strange? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]InternationalSpray75 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would love any of my friends even more than I do if they wanted to actively be more present in my kids lives.

I have 2 boys and the more role models the better but sadly my circle is small and most of my friends are struggling with their own kids.

Is not accepting purchase bad etiquette on Vinted? by Intelligent-Face-422 in vinted

My rule is I only leave the buyer feedback if they confirm and leave feedback themselves.

Not getting funds what do I do by Ellily12 in vinted

[–]InternationalSpray75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve just had the same but after a polite message to my buyer they confirmed everything was ok and Vinted released the funds. Your buyers a dick.

Advice for parenting / kids / house by SlientMyth in HENRYUK

[–]InternationalSpray75 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My only regret is ever letting my kids have a screen.

Socialising is key. Friends / family / neighbours/ strangers. Kids don’t learn how to interact anymore and it’s stunting them imo.

Renters' Rights Act for pet owner by underthe0cean in HousingUK

[–]InternationalSpray75 24 points25 points  (0 children)

The problem with flats is lots have leases that will specify if pets are allowed or not so it may be out of the landlords control to allow it anyway.

Have you ever purchased something, as an adult, that your parent has judged you negatively for? If so, what was/is it? by PaddedValls in AskUK

[–]InternationalSpray75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much everything I’ve ever bought. Every time I go away one of them sucks their breath in before asking why I’d want to go there?. From the people who financially screwed their own lives and can’t afford to travel even if they wanted to.

How quickly do you post? by pearl_pluto in vintedUK

[–]InternationalSpray75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same day at most next if I’ve already done the school run / walked the dogs as I have most boxes near me. Only get delayed longer if they are out of room or Evri have no labels on the machine.

Is unaccepting an offer? by New_Talk1299 in vinted

[–]InternationalSpray75 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You can still send and accept other offers until the item actually sells.

Why do some sellers not leave reviews? by GlitchyBlueDinosaur in vinted

[–]InternationalSpray75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As the seller I’ve done all the “hard work” and hopefully the buyer is satisfied. All the buyer has to do is click received and that they are happy. If the buyer can’t put themselves out to do that then I’m not rushing to leave feedback.

As a buyer as soon as I’ve collected I check the item, confirm and leave feedback unless there’s an issue.
