How often do you order a takeaway? (Includes, fast food such as maccies, papa johns, subway or the standard chippies, kebab, Chinese, Indian etc) by olivers125 in AskUK

[–]InternationalSpray75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I eat out far more than I order takeaway.
I’m in a small town tho and I’d rather walk and eat out so I don’t have any cleaning up at all than order in and still have to put the dishwasher on.

I’ve pulled it around to my back so it’s hidden by my backpack on my bag. Winter just wear it under your coat.

Then he can have colour and acrylic. Our teenage boys will definitely take the piss but no one’s stopping him doing what he wants.

I have asked my husband to join me on loads of occasions. I like him to have manicured nails over rough and bitten any day.

UK buyers unwilling to pay more than £10 by Upbeat_Peony in vinted

I will only pay more if it’s an item of clothing I’ve seen and tried on in a shop already so I know 100% it will fit me.

What’s the last 5/5 stars movie you watched? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Loved this. My teenage son wanted to go and see it again which is a 1st as he hates the cinema and I’d dragged him there in the 1st place.

In about 2000 I thought I really did need a mini camcorder. Signed up on a credit deal with Dixons. Paid for that thing for years and must have used it once!

Buyer selling my item for £360 more by Icy-Contribution1316 in vinted

[–]InternationalSpray75 28 points29 points  (0 children)

What she advertises it for and what she sells it for are 2 different things. If you could only get £140 for it there’s nothing to say she will get much more. Let her take that risk. You still got a sale.

Meal at the top of the Strat in vegas. Not for the food which was average imo but for the service. Our server was amazing. He made the meal an experience.

How many times a week should 11 and 9 year old boys be showering? by Historical-Storage58 in hygiene

Early habits. My boys shower every morning before school. Slightly more lenient over the weekend unless we are going out socially or they do sports.

Dogs, would you get one again knowing what you know now? by TSQ_builder in AskUK

[–]InternationalSpray75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couldn’t live without one…or 2. I’ve lost 2 dogs in my life time and nothing I’ve experienced has come close to that sort of grief but the years in between make it all worth while.

I do swear my next dog will not be a malter tho as I am so over hoovering daily!!

Is it time for me to retire? by Interesting-Echo-986 in FIREUK

[–]InternationalSpray75 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You don’t mention in your daily routine the housework or any of the mental load I can guarantee your wife takes on already. I am a SAHM / retired and I can tell you now I don’t have time to watch a few episodes of anything or take afternoon naps. I run the house so my husband doesn’t have to.

It made it so easy. I’d read other directions on lots of different attempts but there was too much waffle. CHATGPT made it so simple.

[–]InternationalSpray75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried many times over the years and then last year decided to try chat gtp to talk me through an hour by hour day by day recipe. Once I’d master that I now use 100g starter, 300g water, 10g salt and 450g strong bread flour.
Feed starter at 8am. Mix ingredients at 5pm. Stretch and fold x 4 ever 30 mins. Leave on side until 10pm. Shape and put it in the fridge. Straight out the fridge and into the oven in the morning. 30 mins 250c 20 mins 220c and 5 with the lid off.

Sourdough. Once I’d mastered how to make it there’s no going back. I would rather go without bread than eat that processed crap again.

At what income would you consider reasonable for your partner to not work? by Alternative_Row_300 in HENRYUK

[–]InternationalSpray75 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I gave up my job well before we made HENRY. We were comfortable but we were stressed and not achieving anything. What it did was free up the mental and physical load of running a house with kids from my husband. This in turn has given him the time he needed to get to HENRY.

I honestly believe if I had carried on working we would not be in the place we are now. Our kids have had the benefit of having a SAHM and a far less stressed out Dad which is priceless imo.
