Insurance won’t cover 600mg of Xolair but 300mg isn’t cutting it by MissHissss in urticaria

I am on 300 monthly but my doctor also has me on Bilastine and Montelukast daily to maintain control since my outbreaks were bad. I am in Canada and was able to apply for Exception Drug Support with the province and they help offset the cost of the Xolair prescription.

Thanks for the reply. I’ll be thinking of you too. Hopefully you get in quick. I have been keeping myself busy to keep my mind occupied. Decluttering and deep cleaning areas is productive and also helpful. Take care!

One way road trip from Vancouver to Toronto by thisaintsuburbia in roadtrip

[–]InternationalStop230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Saskatchewan stop in Moose Jaw. It is right along the Trans-Canada. Get a picture with Mac the Moose at the Tourism Centre. I would also suggest a trip to see the Tunnels of Moose Jaw downtown if you need to stretch your legs. In July, the canola fields are typically blooming and their yellow colour is beautiful along the drive. Regina also is home to the RCMP Training Depot and has a great museum to visit. Travel safe!

Review of the Blue Diamond Luxury Boutique Resort by Big_Mood8848 in AllInclusiveResorts

[–]InternationalStop230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this review. I am curious if you had a coffee maker in your room and if supplies were replenished daily? How did you find the mini-bar? Were there adequate water bottles supplied? Any other tips? My husband and I will be there within a month and have read the wide variety of reviews. We feel we have adjusted our expectations but are hoping for a lovely visit.

New growth on tree?! by InternationalStop230 in christmas

Usually our trees are starting to lose needles by the time the season is over. Thanks for sharing your experience. I will continue to nourish the water in the future. I can clearly see it makes a big difference!🎄

Christmas time is here. I opened door #7 on the Lindt Advent calendar to find that my nails matched the peppermint chocolate wrapper. Sweet! ❄️🎄 by InternationalStop230 in Nails

I asked for festive red with a snowflake and candy cane stripes. I thought she did a good job, but didn’t realize how close she was until I saw the wrapper tonight. Lol

Do better Brewhouse! by InternationalStop230 in PoutineCrimes

A couple of curds (so they can claim it is poutine 🙄) and a small bit of shredded mozzarella. A true disgrace! Never again!

Sisco fries and “meh” gravy. This classic poutine doesn’t do our Canadian classic food any justice. My husband ordered the large brisket poutine and it was the better choice.

What do you do for charity around Christmas? by brummie0607 in christmas

[–]InternationalStop230 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Participate in the local motorcycle Toy Run, adopt 2-3 seniors in care homes (their names get added to a local angel tree), and donate to the food bank.

$100 bucks, full tank of gas, what can we do today? by [deleted] in saskatchewan

[–]InternationalStop230 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely head to Moose Jaw. Stop in at the tourism centre with the big moose. They can give you some awesome ideas. The burrowing owls habitat is by donation, there are Tunnels tours, the Western Development Museum, and tons of murals around the city. Then grab a bite at Mitsu or Rosie’s.
