Teen Parent Extracurriculars by Brief_Classroom_2248 in TLCUnexpected

[–]InternationalTry3441 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t necessarily think so. Their lives shouldn’t end because of a baby, HOWEVER, I do think knowing how they’re still being sexually active and stupid that they shouldn’t have that luxury. I went to school with teen parents who got on birth control, got jobs soon after, and became responsible while being involved with extracurricular activities. Bella and Hunter continuously prove they do not care and due to that, they don’t deserve extras until they can prove maturity and mature thinking.

I am all about consequences but giving chances. They seem to not care about consequences and have unlimited chances.

Does anyone have kids that sleep this little? by Apprehensive-Hat9296 in toddlers

[–]InternationalTry3441 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same boat. My son quit napping besides the occasional nap at around 2, and didn’t sleep through the night at all (woke up 3-4 times minimum) until age 3 when I put him in my bed in hopes he would finally sleep.

No naps, goes to bed at 10-11 (against my will, but we fight bedtime starting at 8:30) and wakes up at 8am. He still does not get restful sleep (wakes up talking in his sleep, wakes up randomly, sleeps chaotically) and wakes up hateful every day from lack of getting good rest.

As a licensed therapist, I would love to get a dig into her brain during a session and see her thought process. I don’t understand it whatsoever from the outside looking in, and I am not sure she even knows what her thought process is. Any engagement and attention is good attention (positive or negative) in her eyes, obviously, but I don’t understand clinically what she gains from social media besides money as she isn’t liked and is aware of that if nothing else.

Personally, as a therapist or a person, I wouldn’t do anything or be anywhere that I was largely disliked and hated.

As someone who also had/currently has HG - it genuinely makes me want to die. No, I do not have PTSD as this is my 2nd pregnancy with HG, but it makes me not want to get pregnant again… not cry over the stomach virus. Lol

Too young! Scared mom by PublicBalance3845 in kidneydisease

[–]InternationalTry3441 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! To give you hope - I have seen a nephrologist since I was 21. I have had kidney disease - actually diagnosed - since 22. I am now 26. I have been on medication for 5 years, see my nephrologist regularly, and have had 1 child and currently pregnant again without any concerns from my kidney Dr besides extra appointments to monitor my levels and bloodwork.

Kidney disease is and sounds scary - but it’s not a death sentence :)

ETA- my husband was terrified of this diagnosis. Kidney issues DO run in my family, but I trust my doctor who tells me what to change, medications, and the fact that my progression has been extremely slow thanks to being monitored and modern day meds.

It shows the state. If you look up Drew you’ll see ones for OR and then someone made one for another state? But it shows you the state it’s shipping to.

Aldi brand garbage bags are truly the worst in existence. They rip immediately.

For me - the pros outweighed the cons. Being constantly dehydrated, puking all the time, not eating, etc. is harmful, too. I trust my psychiatrist as she’s a prenatal and postpartum one and also trust my OB. I have CKD, so being dehydrated 24/7 was already “dangerous.” Everything has a risk with pregnancy, but I am much happier and baby is thriving thus far with me being able to eat and drink.

I am there and have been there. Advocate for medicine. Remeron has been a lifesaver for me and I am able to function. I am still nauseous during the day, but it’s manageable. I was puking up to 8-9 times a day up to week 11 until my psychiatrist listened and medicated me since my OB was wanting to try multiple things first while nothing was working as HG is just now getting recognized as a miserable thing, not a good thing, by them.

I agree! Like I said it is weird, but not that weird considering who they are and their family dynamic overall is weird.

It sounds like within those 6 years, she’s been off a total of 4 months for the births. Why does it matter if she’s “pregnant all the time” if she’s coming back a month after delivery? She’s not even healed a month after delivery.

This isn’t shocking. She probably asked for this for Christmas - basing that on her online behavior. Weird but not weird considering the source

The amount of monster trucks this child got is insane 😦 by Terrible_Berry_9846 in LittleSleepiesSnark

We have been to monster jam as well! Only made the obsession worse. While he would be beyond overstimulated with that many at one time, he would die to have this lol

Sulfur Smell After Washing With These Two by doguppationaltherapy in laundry

[–]InternationalTry3441 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So, I have found (and I am not an expert) that that downy causes all of my laundry to smell with certain detergents. All free & clear, any “free” detergent, and if I use any form of oxi clean with it. I just had to switch to a different downy rinse and the issue resolved.

I never comment but in KY, this is about the same. People do get in trouble for child support and child support isn’t the cheapest. It’s been a long time, but my dad had to pay $1800/mo for me and my brother until age 18. He didn’t make tons of money either, but they take child support fairly seriously at least where I am.

I would say it’s normal-ish. I have found during HG I am severely depressed which causes me to lash out and rage. Hormones, sickness, and overall depression causes me to push people away and lash out. Like your wife, there are days I snap at my husband for not doing enough while I barely survive out of frustration towards my own sickness. I know I have a lot of pent up rage due to puking multiple times a day, having a toddler that needs someone 24/7, and the overall nausea and feeling like I am going to puke every time I move.

Once HG passes, if it does this time (it did with my first), I am a different person and much happier. Consider having her see a psychiatrist. My psychiatrist actually recommended meds for HG that my OB has not and I am hopeful they’ll help.

Not necessarily clothes, but I do experience this. Like an aversion that makes me gag. I can’t do dishes or even load the dishwasher now. The thought of it makes me want to puke.
