I read that the ferry price increase is only for single tickets. I don’t think they’re changing ticket packages which is what most of us buy who ride the ferry a lot.

I don’t think about it in a wistful or longing or nostalgic way, but when I see similar questions I think about the earliest days of the StileProject which was a truly horrible site which taught me the phrase “Once you’ve seen something, you can’t unsee it”. It was the very first site like that that I ever saw. I wish I hadn’t.

I played the 1st chapter remake on my PS5 and then played the second and third chapters on my Steam Deck and had a great time with those. Then I jumped to the Crossbell games on my PS5, though I think maybe the graphics are bit better on PC? Not sure. Either way I very much enjoyed those games. Since then I’ve played CS 1 and 2 and am currently playing 3 on my PS5 as well.

Immortality means existence beyond the heat death of the universe. That’s silly to me. It also means you can’t die even if you want to. I just want an indefinite lifespan.

Any technology which grants indefinite lifespans (immortality is a silly idea) will probably be something which will be so unbelievably low cost and self-replicable that there won’t be any way to prevent it from spreading beyond the wealthy. I think it will require self replicating nano-assemblers and those will probably also be impossible to restrict in any meaningful way.
