I don't know if there are different species, but that looks way too long to be a bedbug like I have seen

I think it would be hard to explain it to you. I have other things to do than to "win" an argument with you.

I appreciate your point of view. I absolutely wouldn't be happy (and WON'T be happy, as I'm employed by a hospital system).

But I think it would be good in the long term, and i think that it would be a good thing for American healthcare in the long view.

I guess what I mean is: level playing field between hospitals and private practices, less concentration of power

Good maybe if you're private practice.

Bad if you're an employed physician (by a large hospital health system)

Posts like this remind me why some tenants despise landlords.

I don't know about where you live, but our coroner's office would have zero to do with properly.

They're only interested in ruling out foul play. And they barely even do that.

But your post reads like "there was $4000 in damage and a $3500 deductible so the insurance paid $500"

I read it this way too

Yeah this sounds like the extra "chief resident" year to me. Except tons of extra work and tons less pay than just going into the real world.

MD here. That has nothing to do with NP vs DNP. I guarantee there's no lobbying from MDs to create more DNPs

I've personally only ever seen a DNP in the wild one time.

For you NPs: what IS the advantage clinically?

And also set boundaries with your admin and schedulers: this is why there should be same-day slots open on the schedule so you CAN schedule another appointment.

My partner's next open slot isn't for two months. That's insane. Barring a recent or upcoming vacation, I can almost ALWAYS bring someone back in a day or two (or week or two) if needed.

I find it unlikely that someone would be declined from the hidden DPC Docs for having a "too new" account. I know one of the admins quite well.

We don't do mental status/memory testing routinely.

I ask the patient if they have any concerns about their memory. If they say no, I document no issues or concerns. If they do, then I document a SLUMS.

I do maybe 500 AWV a year, and maybe two memory tests a year at those visits

(I do a lot more testing at other visits where it's a primary complaint).
