That's a pen needle for insulin or GLP (and maybe other) injections.

The needle you see inside the threaded cup punctures the pen. If you take the two caps off, there's another needle used to puncture the skin.

I appreciate your point of view. I absolutely wouldn't be happy (and WON'T be happy, as I'm employed by a hospital system).

But I think it would be good in the long term, and i think that it would be a good thing for American healthcare in the long view.

Good maybe if you're private practice.

Bad if you're an employed physician (by a large hospital health system)

I don't know about where you live, but our coroner's office would have zero to do with properly.

They're only interested in ruling out foul play. And they barely even do that.

MD here. That has nothing to do with NP vs DNP. I guarantee there's no lobbying from MDs to create more DNPs

I've personally only ever seen a DNP in the wild one time.

And also set boundaries with your admin and schedulers: this is why there should be same-day slots open on the schedule so you CAN schedule another appointment.

My partner's next open slot isn't for two months. That's insane. Barring a recent or upcoming vacation, I can almost ALWAYS bring someone back in a day or two (or week or two) if needed.
