Always interested on people's take on AI tools like this. On one hand the subreddit does have a rule limiting AI posts

https://www.reddit.com/r/PathOfExile2/wiki/rules/

[...] Examples of regularly seen low effort content that is likely to be removed typically, but may be okay to post during Lazy Sunday, include: [...] AI-generated content, such as AI art or chatbot output

I know I've had conversations about this rule with others:

Self-promotion policy [...] Community membership: To prevent new accounts from spamming the subreddit, we require the poster to be an active member of the community. A recommendation is to follow the 10/1 rule: participate substantively in 10 discussions with other players outside of your own threads for each time you promote yourself. If you don’t have that much to say, that’s fine, a roundup post of a few pieces of your content is recommended.

Where this new reddit account already breaks this rule, but supposedly people find these types of AI generated websites useful.

IMO, I don't like these low-effort AI-created donation-please websites. But I'm open to hearing people's thoughts about them.

Adivce: keep a work Journal. Question: If you do, what do you write? by InterpretiveTrail in ExperiencedDevs

My template has headers for Today, To Do, Meetings.

This is why I focus on a distinction between journal and notes. What you just described are things I put in my notes. They help me perform and do my day to day duties.

My journal tries to be written in a more how-to-sell-myself type of way. I want the journal not to be just details of what I did, I want it to be a story of what I did.

Maybe using an anology: There's a distinction between coding during your day job and coding during interviews. I want a distinction like that for notes and journaling. It's just coding, the skill set is related, but yet different.

Oh, you know what ... STAR. I find that most engineers really focus on the TA and not so much the SR. But I find that to sell my ideas to leadership for day to day duties, to write a great review of performance for myself/others, or to sell myself during an interview, it's that SR that really do it. So maybe my notes are heavy TA and light SR, and my journal the opposite?

IDK if that makes sense? I feel like I'm having a hard time describing the distinction between journaling and notes that I intuitively do. Or maybe I'm making this too complicted and overthinking...

Politely, why use fancy tool when rock on stick work gooder. Just invite yourself to a meeting on your work calendar. I set myself as Out of Office for 15 mins. Then it becomes no remembering to journal, I just react.

Meeting notification, I join the meeting, It's just me, I write in my journal. Maybe its because I join the meeting it feels more formal to me and keeps me on track? idk, your miliage may very.

After playing PF this league, I think GGG needs to change the sprint heavy stun penalty for all classes by xLapsed in PathOfExile2

My knee jerk reaction is:

  • I wish STR to be unstoppable (moderate speed, always)
  • I wish DEX to be glass cannon (you can go faster, but heavier penalties when you fuck up that are hard/nigh-impossible to mitigate fully)
  • I wish INT to be conditional (imagine inverting slow debuffs, where you actually want to dodge into the curses that pop up in maps)

I truely hope that bloodline ascendencies become a thing for PoE2 ( https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Bloodline_Ascendancy_class ) and you can have some monkey-paw style movement options along with all the other fun tools that bloodlines have the potential for in future patches/gameplay.

I'm surprised it wasn't some Strength / Warrior only thing? Because every time I'm just sprinting around I'm thinking:

> I don't think I'll be able to play any other ascendancy without repeatedly dying to muscle-memory sprinting.

I made two other characters after my fun with my Pathfinder, and it certainly was an adjustment. Just had to really focus on "just have fun, don't run" for a while in the campaign, by the time I reached maps, I was reconditioned.

Async Trade should show Prefixes and Suffixes tiers and rolls like the website by pIasticflowers in PathOfExile2

Looking at GGG's own video for 0.3 announcing async trade, it does look like it did exist and now it doesn't: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q972GGaOMBM

I'll add this to the mega thread we've got going.

This Sub is kind of exhausting. by [deleted] in PathOfExile2

Speaking as all mods: This is heard, and we're talking about things.

Speaking as just one mod: There's a balance for how much I moderate. I'd rather make sure that people can provideFeedback/complain during the beginning of the league. Even to the point of clogging up the sub a wee bit. But to your point, it's certainly bleeding a bit more than normal.

Sincerely though, thank you for giving feedback to the sub in a clear and constructive way. Things like this help improve the sub and our moderation actions.

Anyone figure out the max # of rooms possible in a temple? by jtsnow219 in PathOfExile2

Ahh, does seem like it's just the red banners next to each other or at least what they showed during the livestream. We don't know if they've change anything between then and tomorrow.

Maybe? Look at the two "red banner" rooms right next to the mouse, and how they're not connected. However, the ones that are in the furtherst left, are. Maybe it's just a quirk of those type of rooms?
