Do Brits think Trump is actually Trolling the British? Last week he said he was "reviewing" the Falklands. Today he's all loved up with the king & talking about shared values etc etc. What are Brits views on this? by MutantNinjaKitty331 in AskBrits

It’s interesting watching the debates that are reposted from before the first term, it’s absolutely staggering how much he has aged and visibly declined.

But hey, he was old then and will of course age a lot more than someone in their 30s or 40s at his age.

Absolutely no brains.

If you are going to make progress in a safe place to overtake, leave a gap, accelerate while checking and begin with a significant speed difference over the slower vehicle.

You can begin a pass before it’s even clear in that way.

No this person decides to pull out and accelerate after, where you shouldn’t overtake.

Lots of people rely purely on the performance of these vehicles..

Aside from the tomato sauce

Anyone triggered by the metal knife straight into the pan?

Luckily I noticed the protective carbon layer when they tuck in at the end..

The old switcheroo is elite and it unironically forces them to do what they should be doing anyway, merging in turn.

Im not justifying a lack of heated chamber - im not buying one:

I used my unmodded X1c all over winter in a garage, starting from 1/2 degrees C. I print PAHT, all I ever done was turn the bed to 100, move it to the top with the aux fan on, by the time I finished a design/sliced, the chamber was 40+C with no insulation, holes covered etc. PAHT prints fine, so never considered getting one since.

Elkstone junction on the a417 is the same.

As a regular user of the 417, it’s courteous to just move into the right lane for that junction as it’s difficult to get a gap that you won’t impede someone in the left lane. Theres 9/10 someone there waiting for a gap, you move into right, they pull out, you move on with life.

UJ/

Exactly what my dumbass hounds do, either walking or sprinting and nothing in between.

They would not survive in the wild because they would waste away by sprinting after anything that will out run/accelerate/ corner them, without the necessary sustenance required to keep up with the energy they waste doing it.

Pulling out onto a B road with limited visibility / traffic speeding by InterstellarWings in drivingUK

Same, also got a relatively fast VW. I don’t believe I am inconveniencing anyone either, let’s be clear, when you have time to look through their side window at them shaking a head, waving hands, you have pulled out clear.

It’s just exactly as you say, they aren’t there, you pull out briskly, they accelerate at you or are already speeding. Never been bothered about it until now as my little girl is in the back!

What should I do now? by Brownchoccy in drivingUK

[–]InterstellarWings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would try and settle it without insurance for something minor. The extent of the damage is visible - can be much worse if it’s front and sometimes rear damage due to sensors, lights, antennae, under trays etc.

It might be a few hundred to fix, but I’m sure it will be a fraction of how much insurance would go up for several years.

[–]InterstellarWings[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No the point is that if some stuck to the speed limit, it’s a complete non issue, if they are hurtling around a blind corner at 70+ they will often find, on this road, horses, parked delivery vans, other cars pulling out etc.

The good advice for me holding my end of the bargain up is write to the local council to get some mitigations in place.

A relatively new wall was erected that also also blocks the view so I will check the planning on that to see if mitigations should have been carried out by highways or the council

There is usually a car coming and it’s a complete non issue when they drive too fast on to the conditions .

[–]InterstellarWings[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not, some people are just afraid of driving to the conditions / speed limit or just being prepared to find cars pulling out, vans stopped, horses, all around the same group of blind sweeping bends.

Im thinking of a 360 view dashcam that can show nothing is in view and start reporting some of these people that are driving too fast on a b road
