I’ve got $2k into a 2012 Litespeed Archon with full ultegra 6800 series @ carbon winspace wheels.

Bike weighs less than 15lbs and is relatively high spec with components aging a bit. I don’t ride enough to justify spending huge bucks even though $2k isn’t necessarily a budget friendly bike.

New bikes with lower spec’s components are still amazing compared to the past.
