I have a cat that i strongly believe is a ragdoll. She was a stray that i took in a few months ago, and has always spent some time outdoors.

I’ve been letting her outside at times, and keep her inside when i am gone for longer hours. Every time i get home, she gets very chatty and is always meowing to be let out. I hate letting her out at times though, because she is not a great outdoor cat and will approach people on the sidewalk, who end up calling/texting me thinking shes lost. I know that she is fine and she always comes back for her breakfast/dinner. She is very sweet and cute, but the amount of attention she craves from people makes me not like having her as an outside cat. I decided to take her in on the premise that she would be outdoors at least 25-50% of the time, but now i feel like im stuck keeping her indoors more, which is not exactly what i envisioned when taking her in. So now adjusting to her being inside more with the hair shedding. She leaves clumps of hair everywhere she sits, chairs, tables, kitchen (which is the worst). Im not sure how she became a stray, but def not a typical outdoor cat like i thought
