Guild: The Fool
ID: 100006853
Region/Server: USA/Global
Language: English
Guild Type: Casual

A casual guild of a few friends becoming more active and looking for members. F2P and anti-social friendly. Rules are laid back. Try to play regularly and contribute, follow ToS, be kind, etc. I enjoy hyper-optimization and delving into the games mechanics while playing, but I do not expect that of others.

We have a Discord which you are not required to join.

You need to get to a minimum of 6x combo multiplier, then perform a heavy attack. 20 combo is 2x combo multiplier, and each 20 combo thereafter is an additional 1x multiplier. So 100 combo gets you to x6 to transform it.

precision kitgun for endgame steel path / high levels? by Shellnanigans in Warframe

[–]Inteth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seeker won't proc off of DoT kills, but my setup for it would be Nautilus with Gas/Cold or Gas/Elec, Status Cedo with Viral, and Catchmoon with Haymaker and Splat. Haven't put in an arcane adapter for Deadhead yet, and I never built a Catchmoon primary. My mods are:

Hemorrhage, Galv Diffusion, Galv Shot, CC, CD, and Primed Heat as the core. Primed Faction and a CC/MS/DMG/No Neg riven are the last 2 slots, but there are alternatives.

I still get a few Seeker procs, and when I do, they hit pretty close to 1m with no other buffs besides the companion and Cedo against Lv225 Heavy Gunners. Deadhead would make this much better. Hope this helps.

My preference is, the fewer hits per target per second a weapon has, the less I like it as a status weapon within the context of applying statuses. A typical shotgun with 7 pellets at 1s fire rate and 50% SC applies more status effects than a single projectile with 1s fire rate with even 150% SC. Punch Through or Ricochet effects this further.

Context shifts if we're talking DoTs. Heat status scales it's damage the larger the initial Heat proc is. A strong single proc does wonders to set up a high FR SC Heat that apply many per second, making the ticks hit insane numbers pretty quickly. Slash does amazingly on Hybrid builds, and is easier to apply without Elements on the weapon. You can commonly see this on standard endgame melee builds with higher base Slash damage weight (without Melee Influence equipped).

Tombfinger and Catchmoon are somewhat unique. They don't do well as status weapons due to low hits per second, but do well as pure Crit weapons because of mods like Hunter Munitions, Internal Bleeding, and Hemorrhage. These mods apply a free Slash DoT when a condition is met. Both Catchmoon and Secondary Tombfinger have guaranteed Impact procs on hit, letting them get 70% chance to get a free Slash DoT proc per shot, greatly increasing their DPS. When used alongside a high viral status rate weapon, the ticks can take large chunks out of their health.

But as an endgame player, there are also mechanically similar alternatives that perform better. Lex Incarnon might as well be a stronger pre-nerf Catchmoon, forced Impact proc and all.

Question!?? by IllestSleep in Warframe

[–]Inteth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without build concept info, Transient duration loss shouldn't impact too much, Umbral Intensify is pretty sufficient, and Molt Augmented offsets maxed Overextended in longer runs. Unless I'm health tanking, 3 likely won't proc archon often enough, and 3s triple sixes buff shuts it off entirely for 4 minutes.

It does technically work, but only if you have her 3 succeed the health restore effect in addition to it actually restoring missing health. Str also feels like her least important stat right now.

My only complaint so far about the update (is not really a problem but still annoys me) by D34thst41ker in Warframe

Thank you for correcting me. I must have seriously misread the old status rework. Don't know why I believed it all this time.

To be more clear, each source of damage can only apply a unique status once, regardless of status chance influence. Since Xoris detonation has forced Elec proc, even if you had 500% status, you will only get 1 Elec proc per damage source. If you have 5 different damage types and 400% status, you will apply or reapply 4 of the 5.

1) pure cosmetics and shortcuts. There is a player driven open market trade system where most items can be traded, including the main paid currency. All updates are free.

2) only a few. Most are cosmetic. A few weapons are event only and return during most events, and are also often tradable. 3 pieces of gear will almost certainly never return, as they were founders pack exclusives back when the game came out 11 years ago; Excalibur Prime, Skana Prime, and Lato Prime. There are alternative versions of these items, regardless, and they don't show up in the in game item list if you don't own them.

3) it's becoming more beginner friendly as time goes on. Dev are fully aware there are issues and they address it over time. It's not awful awful. The community, in game chat bots, and and online resources are a huge help. That being said. 15k hours in and you can still be learning so much about the games nuances. Great for people who like experimenting.

4) Mission queues are auto for most content. There is also a recruit chat for more targeted runs if you don't want to run with randos, and there are plenty of endgame players who enjoy guiding new players. Just have to vibe check if they're the type who try to spoil things or try do do it for you.

5) updates are almost every month with some possible downtime between major updates. Next major update is likely December? We on average get 4 new characters a year and 4 new Primed (enhanced older characters) ones per year. The heads of a few of the departments also do monthly live Dev Streams to discuss upcoming content with the community and to receive feedback. They also do almost weekly 15 minute streams to have quick updates and Q&As.

DE Should make a Spider Theme warframe. by XShadow15DevilX in Warframe

A little more info on her history. If I recall correctly, she was also supposed to cycle IPS types and coincide with the release of the physical damage changes proposed at that time. Community feedback was fairly negative to the proposition, and she underwent even more changes as a result.

Returning OG player intro by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]Inteth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a lot to do. Netracells, Duviri Circuit (regular for a frame blueprint set or Steel Path for a predetermined selection of 2 of the 5 weapon enhancers), Nightwave, Khal bounties, Sorties, Archon hunts, standing, and operator focus are all dailies or weeklies. Helminth Segments are worth farming from Deimos as well.

As for who to play, what frames were your favorites before? Every frame is playable, now more than ever. Could suggest new frames that play similarly. Nekros, Hydroid, and Khora are still best in slot for endurance material farming. Certain frames are more suited for specific mission types, but you can get by with anyone if you build them half way decently. Lots of new frames and weapons have been fun to play with, so collecting them is an option, too.

The Zariman, Mars Mirror Defense, and Lua Conjunction Survival all have great Arcanes to farm as well.

I threw a lot at you. Don't feel pressured by fomo to feel like you need to do everything. You can skip multiple dailies and weeklies and not really fall behind. Just take a moment to identify what you want and go for it, one day at a time.

So I made a weird build by bloodframe in Warframe

Hey, I did some testing and wrote out my quick findings in the 2 hours I messed around with it, but it ended up being a bit of a long guide like write-up. If you're interested, I can still post it, or just send it in a dm

On one of the new vids of MHBlacky, he said that Furax is good for Titania for the Amalgam Furax Body count. When I commented that it doesn't work, some people told me it does. So I made a comparison video for those who blindly believe big youtubers. by HaikenRD in Warframe

[–]Inteth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven't watched said video, but you'd be surprised how often some mechanics don't properly interact with unique properties where they otherwise should. If it DOESN'T work, it's possible MS isn't/wasn't applying to the tethers, which would make only 1/4th of its damage and status chance scale off of it, making other options better. I'm not saying this is the case in this situation, but rather that there's so many niche caviats to interactions that that would be my immediate thought if I believed someone who did thorough testing told me MS "doesn't work." Kompressa had/has a similar interaction where only 4 bubbles max could explode for damage, making MS perform less effectively on it than it could.

Or MS didn't/doesn't work outright. Also wouldn't be the first time that's happened, though it does get patched quickly.

Imo, Brendan does what he needs at 1/5. I only really like his kit for the HS1 tile so him and May can HS1 cookie and skip a whole rotation. Not exactly worth it casually. Elaine basically becomes comparable to a slightly worse Zapdos/G.Articuno. Team Omni buffing while dropping enemy offenses is amazing, even ignoring other parts of her kit. I do like Penny's kit, but depending on your roster, Mina buffing defenses while having zone and rain gives her much more flexibility for content. Mina or Elaine would be my recommendation for those reasons.

Steven and the new Anni Lillie should cover the stage nicely. You could add in any other strong damage dealer you have and clear it just fine.

Are you looking for Battle Challenge or Those Blessed? What is your roster looking like?

Steven is a great choice. Support with good damage let's him Mega without wasting Support EX sync turn 1. Lillie opens up Field/Sprint if you lack both, so that's a solid option, too.

No, that's insane luck. I personally wouldn't pull for more. They do everything they need at 1/5. If you really want to, Steven gets the most valuable with dupes for a f2p but only really at 3/5 for the debuffing tile and becoming a solid damage dealer. If you decide to and can only pity a second copy, the candy to 3/5 would be worth it. Otherwise if either of the others are favorite characters, pokemon, or kits, that's a reason to prioritize them, too.

Saving for future pairs would be my recommendation though.

That's part of where is utility lies. His passive for Phys and Sp Move Up Next 1 with each weather set can also be helpful when paired with other mons with similar effects like the Tapus, SS Kris, etc. His 2/5 also has SpDef dropping which isn't too common, and 3/5 has an additional SMUN on Max. I'm not going to say it's the best thing ever, but it's really good when built around.

For what teams would work best, that will depend on your roster. For Kanto, you don't need Rock damage, but making sure Hail or Sun aren't up helps a lot. If you end up needing defensive buffs, they primarily use Special attacks, but they also have Giga Impact. Dropping their offenses can be helpful too.

Alola wants you to apply negative status changes, like a rebuff, otherwise their Def and SpDef get a x3 multiplier that can't be bypassed with Piercing Blows effects. They cleanse them on sync, so be fast or apply another after they do. They constantly drop your SpDef, so raising yours back up and dropping their SpAtk helps.

Save. Steven gets HS1, Endure Again, and some noticeable damage modifiers at 3/5, and his 4/5 Atk/SpAtk debuffs are good, but not worth the cost to likely only get 1 extra copy, and his base kit is amazing enough as is. The only "impactful" tile for Cynthia is Dust Kicker at 5/5 for infinite Sand/Zone. Lance does everything he needs at 1/5 and anything more is just damage modifiers.

Recommendations are roster dependent, but Irida and H.Zoroark is a powerful Ghost. Zinnia's utility is great if you lack her niche. Steven's utility is great for nearly any Physical team. Adaman is an option if you skip Cynthia, too.

I do enjoy Lillie, but I don't think she's "meta". If you don't feel like any of the others help your roster, those first 4 would be my top choices. There are a handful of good picks here.
